I want to thank EVERYONE who came on the op today. We left Gamis with 48 pilots, mostly in frigates and cruisers, but a fer BCs and BSs. We wandered around for a bit and finally got a fight from INTERDICTION who were camping a gate out in Curse. They are the FIRST alliance who has ever fought one of our gangs toe to toe without running or dropping cap ships on us, so KUDOS and Good Fight to them! We managed to beat them back, took plenty of losses on both sides, but took the gate from them in the end and pushed them back several hundred k off of it. Once it was plain that fight was over, we pulled back through the gate and started to reform on the other side while we figured out who was left. AAA came at us on that side, we took as many with us as we could, but in the end we got wiped out. Final Stats so far, we took out 13 ships and 2 pods: Typhoon Blackbird Arazu Scorpion Hound Rupture Nemesis Celestis Maulus Deimos Thorax Myrmidon As this was a suicide mission, we fought to the last man. Kudos to everyone on both sides, but especially to you guys who came in on the Eve Radio Fleet side. Lots of first time PVPers and folks who have never flown in a fleet before. Balls to the walls guys, balls to the walls. You should all be proud. Final bounty payout to KB winners was 393m. Grats.

Only the Maulus could have originally been in the fleet. All the other kills are either INTERDICTION or AAA.

Hadwin Caldari Universal Army INTERDICTION	Posted - 2008.01.12 13:06:00 - [57] Ditto to what Dog said. One correction on a Radiohead's account. I never left the gate throughout the entire fight, so he is a little mistaken about holding the gate during their first fight. The Radioheads actually jumped through the gate and were engaged by AAA on the other side. We sat and waited for the AAA to come through and engage us after they finished the Radioheads off, but they warped in the other direction. INTERDICTION then looted both sides of the gate. \o/ I have to say that, amidst the usual blobbing of our reds against us, this was a refreshing change. We were able to have a very good fight. Even though outnumbered 3 to 1, due to the classes of ships involved and the experience of the pilots on either side it was a fair engagement. Of course, having your every move broadcasted on Eve-radio meant we had the best intel possible on your lcoation and direction. Lag was very controllable also, despite the hoards of drones. I'd like to thank Dog for smartbombing most of them to oblivion in the first few minutes. We had a blast and we've had alliance pilots *****ing all weekend that they missed it. Great job and congratulations to the Radioheads for creating a lot of fun for a lot of people. We sincerely hope to see you next time. Regards Hadders P.S. You guys were the first not to drop a cap fleet on us... well actually RA was the first, but they came at our 50 industrial ships with 35 HACs and BSs, so they might as well have dropped a carrier. But yeah, general pilot experience we have with us (a lot of people bring low SP alts, others are really new to the game or PVP) a 3-1 advantage on our side vs anyone worth their salt in PVP = a fair fight.... plus you add in the advantages to being able to hear our orders over the radio (even though we don't broadcast our exact location, it's not hard to figure out what general area we're in). 4 Stars for Curse region though, would die in again. Next time you guys should come through to the other side though, if you thought it was fun VS us, think how fun a 3 way fleet brawl for all would have been. HI-LAR-IOUS.
