Alot of the 'mega'corps now have alot of money and i was wondering if any of them are close to getting a battleship bp.
Anyone have any ideas when Battleships will be on market and how much? Im guessing 80 mill.

Battleships will probably not be on the open market for quite some time, due to 2 facts.
1. They will cost from 150 mil and up to 200+ mil
2. The corps that DO have Battleship BPs dont want to give other people battleships. not yet anyway.

They are on the market, yes. And they¦re HELLA expensive, too ;)
Not even talking about the BPs... geez... they¦re so expensive I don¦t expect any corp to buy one of those during the next 20 weeks or something. If a corp decides to do nothing but pure hardcore mining then they might be able to buy one of those in maybe 10 weeks heheh :)

I know of 2 corps that not only have the BP - they're collecting the minerals to build. Given the amount of corps I've seen who are happy to pay npc prices for trit and pyerite (hell some even pay above npc prices) I'd guess there's quite a few corps on the verge of building...

They are already on the market. Dominix was selling for 150m or 50m/BYOM. It was a lot of minerals. =)

I'll believe these stories when I see the physical craft. Maybe torpedos will finally be put to good use if battle ships hit the market soon.

The smart thing to do is to hold off on buying the battleship blueprint until you actually have the resourses to build a few of them, the support ships necessary to escort them and keep them going.
If you build 1 battleship and do not have the escort for it, then that battleship is as good as dead. 10 cruisers warp in, jam it, and it is dead. You have lost a ship worth 150million credits and they have lost, about 2 cruisers worth 12million each.
Make sure you have the support needed to keep a battleship going before investing and taking the big leap up to a battleship.

The battleship hits MWD on 4-5-6 of it Med slots are fly away at 500km/sec ;)
Aslong as there are stackable MWDs etc. You can¦t lose a battleship even if 95% slowed.
Unless ofcuz you have the same IQ of a doormat.
