Awesome series that was, eye's were bugging at that implied child *****bit as I was shocked they actualy put that in, glad they left it in as it made the plot meatier but still 
Your joking me. That whole series was sickeningly awful and not because they 'went' there but because the script didn't have the emotional maturity to deal with something like that.
Folk who enjoyed Elfen Lied, liked it cos they get there rocks off at cartoon jubblies, excessive gore and generally sick behaviour.
I would be all for any of those if it were approached well enough. Elfen Lied aint though its cheap thrills for the mentally unhinged!

Not joking, I thought the series was quite good but each to their own if they don't like it. Not the best I have seen but the darkest / most psycotic anime I have ever seen.
For the record, "cartoon jubblies" do nothing for me, and last I checked I am not mentaly unhinged
