I think I remember someone talking about this before, but I can't find the post. I had a BPO copying in a POS. I had the BPO in a station in the same system. Well, I forgot to pay the rent while it was still going. I know, I know. Silly me. But, here's what happened. The copy job keep running. I paid the rent about a week before it was done. Now when I completed the job, the BPC was there, but the BPO is no where to be found. I looked in the lab,and in the corp hanger. Nada.
Do I just need to put in a patiton, and cross my fingers that I don't get an automated response?

Check the deliveries hangar then petition

Have the same thing, nothing in deliveries so i petitioned. its 6 days later now and still no response which sucks because i cant run new jobs without the BPO's

Haven't had this happen to me since the last patch, but according to the patch notes, in these cases BPOs are now returned to impound.
So check impound before petitioning if you have had office unrented while a job was in progress.
Each time you rent an office it is assigned an ID in the database, so if you have to rent office a new it isn't the same office as you had before. Its a new corp office in the same station, and the office the BPOs were in when you installed the job(s) doesn't exist anymore.

Yesterday a GM put them back into CEO's hangar. He appologized for the slow response too :P

right on the topic i was looking for - how do i setup jobs to a POS lab remotely (copying, research, invention). i keep trying and it says I cannot connect to the facility. I have scientific networking and it doesnt work from the same system.

what is the exact error ?
is the bpo in a corp hanger ?
do you have roles in the corp to do this
