/emote cries
You do realize how much gist xls cost...right?! 511dps tanked is pathetic...your armor tank setup does better than that with t2 mods!

with that setup you are still of little to no use to the rest of the gang. tanks like crap, you cant hold anything down, you can only shoot at stuff within a few k with your guns, you dont have a speed mod so you are slowing down the whole gang.
nice gang setup lol.
the point of a "gang setup" is to do some part of the needed tasks in a gang not to be a burden to the gang.

First off, electrons are much more practical for the Domi (you can fit 6 T2 electrons with MWD, LAR, and medium injector). Second, if you plan to use blasters, FIT AN MWD! Third, armor tanking favors those 7 lowslots (besides, once you get on MWD + injector, you'd only have 3 mids for shield tank). Fourth, try to get some more T2 gear on there, especially with the tank. Fifth, a gang Domi should keep other types of drones around (a wing of remote rep drones and ECM drones should go nicely, and probably a wing of Warrior IIs). Sixth, Gist X-type go for several billion ISK each. Finally, a "gang ship" tends to be either a sniper or mobile (and even many of the snipers are mobile), so they can engage targets before the gang finishes them off. Your ship is neither. ------------------- I nerfed my own sig To amuse you, here is my Retriever ever since its first Trinity deployment. RIP. * * * * ** * * * ** * * * * * *** * ** ** |

I really would have to suggest you go with an armor tank here, and sacrifice maybe a little bit of tank for 1 or 2 speed mods (to get into range if you aren't warping on top of your target) or go with more damage mods (and rely on warping in on top of your target) and use the mid slots to help the gang out in some way. Webs, tracking disruptors, warp scrams, etc. If you are fighting in a gang, you shouldn't need a perma ran tank, and a little bit of ewar goes a long ways.
You have 4 power mods in your low slots, and I'm not sure why that is. You shouldn't need it to fit the rest of your modules, and thus they are wasted slots. If you do need them to fit your modules, I'd recommend either boosting your support skills, or, completely rethinking your set up. What you have there isn't that PG intrusive, so you should be alright.
I'd suggest using your "solo" set up and use the mids to be useful for the rest of the gang. Speed, and ewar. Keep the cap booster so you can run your tank for longer than 3 seconds :p www.the-bastards.com |
