Hey everybody! We're back with ANOTHER free Lotto.
Thread with information on CLOTO, EVE-Mailing list, past lottos
Now, this is aimed SPECIFICALLY at new/less well off players, I'd request that please, don't get a ticket if a couple million means little or nothing to you. Just be kind and let others get a small leg up.
READ THIS FIRST - VERY IMPORTANT:
Now, in order to ensure that people only get one ticket each, I need to add a couple rules that may seem odd, but it's to prevent people from making a ton of tickets and getting ISK unfairly.
#1: Your character must be older than 14 days, as trial accounts will not be allowed to participate. I'm sorry.
#2: If you win, you must either provide me with a SCREENSHOT of your login screen (showing your characters) in order to prove that you are not posting with multiple characters, or you must give me your API key. This key is fully secure, and you can change it after I check it. This will NOT give me access to your account, and CCP has approved this key to be given out safely. You can change it after I check it. API Information - please read this fully if you're unsure about the safety of sharing your API key.
If I find that you are one person posting with multiple characters, you will be banned from ALL future CLOTO lotteries, both free and paid.
There will be 84 tickets available, in two sets of 42. There will be 1A-42A, and 1B-42B. So, when you request a ticket, make sure to specify the number AND the letter.
Prizes: There will be two of EVERY prize here, one for the A list and one for the B list.
- Grand Prize: 10 Million ISK
- Second Prize: 5 Million ISK
- Third Prize: 2.5 Million ISK
- Participation Prize: 50,000 ISK (All you need to do is choose a number, and if you don't win any of the other prizes, you'll get a free 50,000 ISK!)
How to get a ticket:
Simply post with your character, choosing a number between 1 through 42 and either A or B.
Example:
I'll take 38A.
How winners will be determined:
As usual, we'll be using the US Powerball. (www.powerball.com)
After all tickets are filled, the first drawing will be the first place winner. The second drawing will be the second place winner. The third place winner will be the FIRST drawing minus the SECOND drawing. It will round down if need be - 0 becomes 42, -1 becomes 41, and so on.
If my ticket was already taken?
You'll get the closest available.
