Right now, it's a real pain to keep track of your BP Originals vs copies vs copies that don't have runs on them anymore. I suggest the following:
BP Originals have the current Blue background BP Copies have a Green background BP Copies with 0 runs left have a Red background
This way, you can see at one glance what is what.
In addition it would be nice to see the number of runs left on a BPC directly on the picture, and as a tooltip, see the ME and PE stats as well as number of runs left.
Your 280mm 'Scout' Artillery I perfectly strikes Sansha's Scavenger, wrecking for 264.3 damage.

Once again, a great idea and a great photoshopped picture to illustrate it. Good job, I totally support this idea.

I'd have to agree here. This should be a fairly high priority...as well as seeing ALL blueprint information on the blueprint when you show info prior to claiming escrow and/or purchasing from Market... ------------------- |

speaking as someone that hasn't even begun yet to dabble in production, this feature would go a long way towards helping me understand it all. i've gotten contradictory explanations time and time again, and i can see that this would make it much easier to comprehend and deal with.
thumbs up from me!

Well, I bumped the other 3,087 threads suggesting this idea or a variant of it, and none of them did any good.
Let's see if supporting this one helps.

I'm not a researcher, but if all types of BPs look alike, I imagine it will be hell if you have 20+
This is a simple idea, with a great potential for helping people out every day, so it has my full support.

Now I'll be a killjoy. Love the idea of BPO's and BPC's have different colours, all in for that. I am a dabler in that area, so i know how much trouble it would save us. And there should be a marker on it to show it is a copy, if it had been the real world a Researcher would do it so he could be sure he delivered the right one when a client came by to pick it up. But even though it would save me trouble i can't see why/how a BPC could change colours from one stage to the next just because it hit's 0? Are we thinking that the labassistant would notice this and scripple useless on it? or somekind of chemical compound that are 'activated' when the last run is done changing the color? There's a problem in not being able to see the difference on BPO's and BPC's but i can't really see a problem in the BPC live and dead...

Kint,
when a BPC uses up the last run, the factory worker that ejects the BPC is dipping it in red ink to make sure he doesn't accidentially put it back in the factory again. In the past years this has happend and usually cause the factory slot to jam up which takes several hours to resolve. As you can imagine, the factory workers are less than happy about additional work specially since that usually happens right before the end of their shift or even worse right before the Friday evening beer party down in locker room 7. This easy method of dying the BPC in red ink once it was all used up proved simple, cost effective and ever since then, they didn't have one jammed up factory slot anymore.
make sense??? *grin*

Me, and probably the entire part of Hegemonic Core that is associated with productions, agree to this idea.
And BPCs have "Legal" number of runs. It's the nano-robots inside the electronic chip that dectivates, and thus the entire chip takes on a dead colour (which, in game, is represented by an alarming RED instead of the in EVE rather dull bluish grey) *Shrug* Whoever said they were scribled on paper? --
