Hi there, after yesterdays downtime i noticed that i cant hear anymore some sounds effects, cargo containers exploding sound is missing, when someone fires missiles i cant hear them firing anymore and sometimes when i am close to other people mining their mining lasers sound effects are coming and going.
Never had these problems since i updated my sound cards drivers, it all started after yesterdays downtime. Anyone else having these glitches?
Thanks.

just verify drivers for sound anyway....also you can turn down the "sounds cards hardware acceleration" and that helps many with sound issues....ecspecially if you sport a sound blaster audigy....
hope this might help you get going again after the patch...

CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-F12 is a key combination that completely eliminates all sound from the game (IE mute). If you have no sounds at all, try pressing that key combination to see if you can 'unmute' it. --------------------------------------------------

I suppose this does not help with the "dropping sound phenomen" i experience.
Suddenly ALL sound is gone, if i then exit EVE and start i.e. Winamp - it would not play. (no audio, and no visual confirmation that a tune would be played)
If i log off my windows-account and bag in (reboot not required) then i get sound back.
SIS on board sound driver is the lastest i could find.
System: AMD athlon, 512mb ram, Win2K Professinal, Geforce2 (latest detonator) , sound, lan on board (SiS chips)
Hardware acceleration is not been recognized by EVE-client. However, changing that in the drivers setting would either lag the system down completely, or no - but what ever i tweak with that - the problem would not disappear.
