Hi all,
I was trying a new invention job, when the location I picked could not see my decryptor.
ah ha I thought - I'm a dumb ass its in the wrong hanger. So I reset the location using the correct hanger, nope I could not see my decryptor.
I tried this locally and I still could not see it, then I flow out to a POS and put it in locally there and could not see it.
Is any one else having this problem, or am I *Special* :)
It's a Dog eat Dog World out there and I'm wearing Milky Bone underwear

Yup, had this same thing many times, the only way i have got round it is to jump out of the system and then jump back in again.
The alternative is to ensure you have the decryptor in the correct place before you even thing about putting the job on :D

I've noticed the same, while doing inventions at a POS. Put everything into the lab... ...decryptor not found.
But if I let a few minutes pass, I can change the installation to something else, then change it back and the decryptor is there. Seems EVE has a case of bad lag in detecting the decryptor. So you have to wait a bit, then choose the installation and it works.
I guess Chance Lightfoot's system roundtrip is just another way to waste enough time

It's a problem with the cache like with your assets window. It's there but your client doesn't know it's there because the cache hasn't been updated. We bug reported it a long time ago, they recognized the problem, and with trinity the patch notes stated they had fixed the problem. Trinity came and the problem still exists.
Work arounds: use different lab, log in / log out, exit system / reenter system, wait 5 minutes and try again.

I logged this as a bug a while ago.. No fix as yet.
Also since they changed the dialog, when you reset the hanger for the invention bpc it also resets the type of ship your inventing.... Damn annoying!

according to my expirience docking and undocking (or leaving the system) works fine in refreshing the decryptors (POS inventions).

This has already been covered in the "Known Issues" forum I think.
Right-click the BPC in the POS lab, select invention.
Then, I think the solution was to set the source hanger for the decryptor before selecting the installation, then selecting the decryptor then selecting the output hanger.
Try that.
