I've been haveing problems in EVE with all teh words it shoes- chat dialog, desciptions, names, everything. Iy looks like someone took an eraser & wiped out the left-hand side of each letter. For example a capital 'T' looks like an upsidedown capital 'L'. I can't begin to say how difficult it is to play, come to think of it, I haven't been playing since it started last week. I had updated some of my comp's drivers and such, but after that, it worked, but now it doesn't. I just tried reinstalling EVE from the CD & downloading the 37MB  patch (on a 56K modem, no less) & that didn't fix the problem either. I submitted 2 bug reports, 1 last week with a general idea, and 1 today that was, I think (it was kinda hard to read what I was typing, after all) alot more detailed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

try the "texel alignment" option in your "esc-key" options...that may fix your issue...i hope it does...

had the same problem, i went to windows updates and installed there critical update and all seems well now, but dont know if this was the cuase of it. hope you get it sorted
also try posting your comp setting i.e what graphic card and the drivers your using for it.
4.14.10.5304 seems stable for geforce cards

I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 100/200 Version: 6.14.0010.4523. I'm gonna try Windows Update now. I'll let ya know how it turns out.

Well, after 5 hours, the installer was about to finish & then it stopped responding. Well, I guess I'm just gonna have to wait for a patch that will hopefully have a side effect and fix it. Until then, I guess I could just hunt NPC pirates, I just hope I don't accidently target CONCORD if I'm around a gate.

get to a internet cafe with a fast d/l and burn it to cd (it its possible), im sure it will help as it sorted my problem out, ive also updated to 56.64 nvida driver which is stable as well.
p.s that driver your using is quite old

Usually it is the texel alignment that causes this... but it might be an issue with drivers as stated earlier.
