I have heard claims about CA and other alliances having reduced amounts of BS in deep space during wars and this being claimed as a victory by Evol/M0o ie they are destroying BS faster than they can be replaced.
The real reason I think is due to 2 factors.
1. Gate Camping. The incessant gate camping in HED/A2 or other choke points prevents lone players travelling the 40+ jumps to the frontline as they either have to get some corp mates together and create a blob so that the pirates don't attack (Evol/M0o tend to only get into fights they are sure of winning) or travel at GMT 0200 - 0600. The only ships that can run blockades easily are cruisers and frigs hence why these make up a sizeable chunk of passing traffic. Getting indies to deep space for mining purposes is just an exercise in tedium! However, the daily kills in these areas is dropping as pilots refuse to travel when a blockade is in place (unless they are stupid or in a V fast ship) and as a result the boredom factor for Evol/M0o rises.
2. Travel Time. Travelling 40+ jumps to the frontline takes ages and is not for the faint hearted due to the fact that you have to constantly monitor space. Frig and cruisers are much faster hence again why they are used.
Does this mean that Evol M0o are winning the CA war. Of course not. Kill count isn't everything and I think CA recognise that due to the way Evol/M0o play (I am not accusing anyone of anything btw, just referring to playstyle) they will get a larger number of lone kills, as CA will almost certainly never get to engage a lone MOo/Evol. It is a numbers game with Evol/M0o having more targets. Ultimately though the winner will be one with the longest staying power and I am absolutely certain that will be CA.

I am not saying that CA has a shortage of BS's just that people have posted elsewehere that they are seeing fewer travelling (the standard place where M0o engage their targets).
I doubt CA would run out of BS's anytime soon, just that members will take longer to get them to the frontline.

Losses are a part of war I did however love how SA flew into Immensea with evolution guns blazing and destroyed that NAP.
