Unsettling news from the shadowy world of Purple.
Purple were one of the shadiest organisations in the known universe, seen by many as no more than a myth, their name spoken in only quiet corners, their members (for they are very real) spread out across the universe, engaging in dastardly deeds whilst seemingly normal members of society. Every major corporation and alliance penetrated by their agents, events manipulated by their hand, it was thought, for all eternity.
But now, dark news indeed, news of grievous differences between the upper echelons of Purple, rumours of two factions emerging from the darkness, no longer to remain hidden, a call to arms, intercepted frantic transmissions as pod pilots race to join the impending battle, word spreads further across the universe, pilots withdraw from their seemingly normal routines or send their alternate identities to prepare, prepare for war.
The clock seems to be ticking, those whoÆve shown faith in purple in the past now face a difficult time, those who've acted as purple agents face a tough decision, pilots all over the universe must accept the reality, itÆs time to choose your side.

I am saddened, but not truly suprised, that the era of the Purple alliance is coming to an end.
As much as my fellows have tried to maintain a strong relationship with those of the cooler hue, we have been betrayed. The spilling of the bright blood of my compatriots must never be forgotten.
Our course is clear, and I call upon all my like-shaded friends to join the battle. The peace is over; our primary foe must be vanquished.

And so those who seek truth emerge into the light.
For too long the powers of the ancient Purple have lay dormant, for too long our strengths have been cast aside, wasted by inaction.
Many of us know there is more, a different future, a future of truth, a future of progression, a future of hope, a future in which we reach our destiny, a future of all you can eat pizza buffet.
Enlightened Purpolians, as we step forward together from the shadows, you know I led you as Purple Second In Command, you know that now I well lead us together as Red. The forces who call us brothers cannot see the error of their ways, cannot see why they fail, they are clinging to the ancient ways, clinging to the scrolls of Purple Law, clinging to the remnants of the founders technology, to the relics that should be no more than museuem pieces, the Sword of Glory, the Shield of Strength and the Teapot of Justice.
They smother us with their rules, the universe evolves around us and yet our strengths are wasted, our powers denied, our destiny strangled.
No more, no more.
Join with me, fight with me, their blue blood will darken the cosmos.
We fight for our vision, we fight for the right to choose our path, we fight for the right to seek the new technologies, to have wet hair on a Wednesday even if it's after the noon, to use our power to mould in our image, to show our forces and no longer hide in the shadow of the moons, to wrestle naked man on man without need to hide our arousal, to lead from the stars as our founders dreamed we would and of course, to see the end of the hideous oppression enforced upon us, never again shall any Red need to accept "only one voucher per customer".
We have been the force behind Purple, we are the strength, destroy them and claim our place.

This treachery and deceit must not go unpunished.
These heretics who have claimed to be loyal, swore allegiance to their Purpolian heritage then foresaken their history must be crushed.
They claim to be the seekers of truth and enlightenment yet engage in nothing but debauchery.
They commit many crimes and must suffer for their deeds, but nothing they have done or indeed can do can be as horrifying as their desecration of the Teapot of Justice, using it to make their so called "Pot Noodle".

I knew that tingling in my head wasn't just a headache from a night of too much Quafe, too many Exotic Dancers, and not enough Small Sealed Cargo Containers. It turns out it was my calling. The calling to the Teapot.

What General Raivi called the Battle of Planet IV is over. I expect that the Battle of Hek is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Modern Purple civilization. Upon it depends our own Red way of life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Empire. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us.
Sarkus knows that he will have to break us in this first conflict or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all New Eden may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole universe, including the null sec regions, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.
Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the Red Corperation and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'

Wow, talk about history repeating itself. Several years ago one of the first ever large corp vs corp battles was the 1st Battle of Hek. It was PIE vs Oracle lead by Sarkos.

I first became aware of the corruption at the heart of Purple during the physical act of love. A profound sense of fatigue... a feeling of emptiness followed.
Luckily I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. I can assure you it has not recurred. True Red women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid Red women.
Your average Blue has no regard for human life. Not even his own.
I can no longer sit back and allow Blue infiltration, Blue indoctrination, Blue subversion, and the interstellar Blue conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
Hand me that belt of Fusion-S, it's time to start shootin!

Peace in the galaxy, purity of essence? I faintly remember this from a holoflick about titans igniting several doomsday devices over amarr prime... and then the entire cluster in the end of the flick was destroyed by several other doomsday devices and explosions. Anyone else remember that?
