What I'm really interested in is how the next few wars shape up. The current coalition against Bob is built more on a greater degree of mutual hatred for Bob than one another; as soon as Bob is no longer perceived as a threat (or, more accurately, once the coalition members see greater threats in their allies than in BoB), it'll fall apart as old hatred flare, and the south will once again be torn apart by wars as fleets are recalled to secure borders and attack enemies much closer to home. Ever imagine what would happen if Russia and the US had gone to war after WWII? This will be a nice snap-shot of that played out on the big screen for all and sundry, and if the rumors are to be believed, this decay is already well under way. Of course, the intriguing possibilities of what the OP implies is what I find really interesting. The notion that Bob schemed the war, a puppet master pulling the strings of alliances, is a bit fanciful in my opinion, but let's consider: a wise prince must strive to never be hated. This obviously has not occurred, and in this respect Bob has failed. However, if we assume that they planned the war, then it would be a true master stroke if they feigned defeat, faded from view, and returned under a different banner when the outer regions were once again divided by petty differences and minor disputes, ready to reclaim their former power. But such tales are the musings of an idle imagination. In any case, the end-game, and its aftermath, will provide a great deal of entertainment.

BoB will not give you a fair fight and only a total sucker would when the stakes are this high. So which 50 man gang are they going to "drop" on? And what are the going to do when that gang gets out of dodge? To be bruttaly honest I think you are way too much in awe of BoBs abilities, they are not supermen.

I will say now that any Goon who seriously believes it was done to curb them from being a future threat is simply put: a moron. There IS a certain expectation from BoB when it comes to how other entities treat us. It doesn't require asskissing, or fear, or even general basic compliance to anything we say or do ingame. I'd be lying if I said those weren't nice when they do happen. But I'd also be lying if I said that is exactly what we/I want. No, I want people to think they can beat me. I want them to try, hard. I want them to go to great lengths at showing EVE just exactly how much "BoB sucks". Why? Because its fun fighting people who try. I'm not saying anybody who doesn't try to Jihad us is bending/rolling over, they could simply have similar political and strategic viewpoints (FIX is a good example). Getting that out of the way lets me focus on the core problem. We all know the reprocussions of them. GoonSwarm in its current state will never be allowed to exist in EVE, ever. If you take that as the threat of BoB hounding you ingame for all eternity, good. If I said this extends to the entire EVE community and end up sounding arrogant in your eyes, thats fine too. I do not represent the "EVE community", but BoB is part of it, and I know the people who I personally associate with and the community which we as a group associate with - and it we would simply not be a part of this mythological "EVE community" if it blindly accepted the cancerous filth that resides within GoonSwarm.

MC have taken the MGO cyno jammer down with a gang around that size i dont know how many times already. As well as the jammers which "are the reason BoB win" there is also these jumpbridges which "are the reason BoB win" too. Then there is the idea of maybe camping a prospective system BEFORE trying to take it. See, lots for 50 man gangs to do. Certianly more than a 1000 man fleet who cant actually move system to system.

I am Gallente but i fly Amarr, so you arent gong to get much sympathy from me. I found it amusing that on the MC mom that was killed 2 of the 3 top damage dealers were apocs, the other top damage dealer being a cruise raven. Ironic really. And if you want to fly an Abaddon there is thing called a cap booster which works quite well.

So, you are not invading, at least in the spirit of the word. You are *****footing around delve like a bunch of scared little children. My original statement stands. Bob is not hiding. We are fighting in the open. All you need do is overcome your fear and fight. We would welcome it.

And if you want to fly an Abaddon there is thing called a cap booster which works quite well. Cap booster is very good, but CCP give Amarr smallest cargo and larges ammo (800 charge is huge!) We usually ejaculate after 30 seconds or so, then we need to dock so we can fill up our cargo for booster charges so we can keep the action going on for a couple of minutes at least. But CCP Cyno Jammer nerf us because we cacnnot dock in system to buy booster charges, and cannot take the station due to no cyno's allowed.
