Ihatalo Navy (IHANA) is a mercenary corporation with active, paying contracts. Our focus is on PVP with an emphasis on pilot specialization over blob warfare. We focus on skilled, well executed gangs that never have to run from fights. We conduct empire wars to keep members active and alert as well as to train both pilots and commanders alike. We also do mercenary work for both empire and 0.0 campaigns.
We're based in Essence for empire operations. Our current 0.0 base of operations is being moved, as our recent 0.0 contracts have expired. We're situated in both high and low security space, but our active wars keep the action going 24/7.
We work alongside 3 sister corps- Ihatalo Heavy Industries, Ihatalo Academy, and Ihatalo Research and Development- to keep all of our operations internal and have a self-sufficient internal market.
As a member of the Navy, your job will be to work under your Fleet/Wing/Squad commander to improve your PVP skills and aid in pvp operations while fulfilling contracts or attacking war targets. We have a military-style chain of command in place as well as a promotion incentive program. We offer a ship reimbursement program for all losses on sanctioned fleet ops as well as Navy-issue ships for pilots who meet the requirements.
IHANA has a training program requiring all pilots to specialize in a T2 or Capital ship or role. We do this by separating our corp into 3 divisions based on ship roles. All pilots are required to have a 3-6 month training goal for a T2 ship (assault frigs excluded) with a further progression up that line of ships. An example would be 2 months for HAC, then another 45 days for Field CS, then another 2 months for Marauder. We make no mandate on what you must specifically train; we leave the choice of route up to individual pilots. This serves 2 purposes: first- we make sure all of our pilots are capable of perfectly piloting a ship before we issue it to them, and second- all of our pilots are constantly improving their training to make them more PVP-effective.
We run mandatory PVP ops (mostly small gang warfare) three times per week, but that will increase as our numbers do. We have our own killboard and private TeamSpeak server. Our website is being developed for both in-game and out of game use and will require API key verification (in-game registration).
We have a 7 million SP requirement which must be verified with an ineve.net "API verified" link.
We provide capital (freighter and carrier) transportation assistance for moving gear, both corp and personal, to all members.
We have a 2 week trial period where your performance will be evaluated by senior officers. At the end of this period, you will either be accepted as full member or kicked based on the evaluation.
