aww the poor fan submissions page... :(
much better discussion :)
Also I know you didn't have a lot of time but I was thinking the whole time, with the warping effect in the background, it would of been cool if you had the shadows move dynamically.
which yes would be a rendering nightmare.
Thanks. Yea, that would be cool, but those beams are captured from a real place, they are not CG, so would be even harder to move the sun. ;)

Congratulations on the new episode! Shame you had to keep it short, but hey Real Life is always more important than the game, right? I liked what you did with the discussion segment, and it shows that you took the remarks on this forum about the discussion in ep3 to heart.
Too bad we have to wait for a bit for the next one. With this increasing quality of the show I wonder where it will go....

Zim dude... I noticed that you got a lot of crap form haters ( *read as morons) on the other thread, don't let it get to you the show is awesome. You made a good choice by letting Dianna do most of the news; you can see the show becoming more polished with each new episode. I have done a bit of producing in College so if you would like some assistance or need a extra set of hands send me a PM...regardless keep up the good work. Yeah I do have a Bob Alt NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! |

Nah, I love the haters, they make me laugh and then I get to make fun of them and boost my thread to the top twice. ;)
Thanks for the support. A large part of the reason for making the show is to expand my working knowledge of production. As I mentioned in the last episode, Im working on a feature length movie now, it becomes a little tedious.
Thanks

Lol, you should have seen it before I cut it. I went out after a shower and when I came back the sides of my hair were sticking up. So I grabbed the scissors and started cutting. :)
Eh, what do I care, Im a gamer, its not like Im looking for a girl friend or anything silly like that. ;)

There is no problem with T1 ships, especially the Ravens.
I used my Raven on roaming tonight, and threw on a couple of Inertia Stabs and escaped an interceptor "twice".
And It can dish out some nice damage.
^^ talking about episode three
Enjoyed the show BTW Free beer and a cookies to first dev to mod my sig -Kurfi |

Not sure what would be better if a more formal news like being done here and previously by Evetv or if you just got a list of news topics throw them out for discussion in a more relaxed feel.

Phenomenal production. Great news. Unwatchable.
Zim, dude, you must be more comfortable in front of the camera and not stumble over your words constantly. I'm assuming you don't do that in your daily life. If you can bring consistent, intelligent rhetoric to the show, EVECAST will be a real winner.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I am perfectly comfortable on camera, why else would I create a show like this.
I dont know what you could possibly reference in the last show that would indicate otherwise.
Just because I stumble on a few words DOES NOT indicate this. In fact, it would suggest the opposite, further pushing the idea that its real and not just a robot reading a script word for word.
I am not a robot, I am a human, I do stumble on words in real life, like everyone on this planet and will continue to do so.
I am very confident on camera, if I wasnt, then I would be doing the opposite, I would be reading every word exactly as written, nervously and tense, instead of improvising. Improvisation, is a direct byproduct of being comfortable with ones self.
People who are uncomfortable in a situation are much more likely to stick to a script, because they dont feel comfortable with themselves and their own ideas. This is by far the opposite in my case.

What I am getting out of your statement is that the women that does your news is uncomfortable in front of the camera because she, at the least, gives off the impression that she knows what she's talking about (although I know she doesn't the play game/has not played before the show).
There are several examples in the podcast/vidcast community of individuals who are not creative professionals producing great content that can complete a sentence without stumbling over it.
On a final note, I've noticed you have taken to fact zero constructive criticism from anyone on this thread since it was created. Asking for feedback is going to get your props and suggestion. If you are going to shoot down everyone that brings up valid points of how the show can be improved, then asking for feedback just makes you look arrogant. --

nice show, although i dont agree with most statements(like the t1 ships thing or the t2bs's)
also i agree that you sometimes seem to look a bit uncomfortable and almost like youre reading the script for the first time ever.
but i can see the improvemts aswell, the scene transfer between 2 news items makes it allot more proffesinal, and solves the sometimes apparent cutting on show 3.
its going in the right direction though. and as for the obvious trolls.... theyre just free bumps (2 bumps even, if you reply to it )
