I know it's been requested before, and I'm throwing it out there again.
Have it negate shield regen as an offset, but yeah, apparently it is the big reason you only see armor caps in most fleets. |

Then everyone whines and bitches that shield caps are OP because you need slaves to equal them in armor.
Hence why I said offset them somehow. Or do the inverse of the equation and simply give a shield resist implant set so that the ehp is the same but the amount of shield is reduced. |

yeah, this is a really bad response... let us ignore this post...(they are obviously armor tanker's that dont like shield tankers...)
+1 for the OP. it doesnt have to be a slave set. they could come up with another brand altogether, but i would love to see more variations for my shield implants. |

Thing is shields regenerates on their own and armor does not. So having a set of slaves for shields would just increase the total hp regenerated in a cycle. This makes them over powered. Regeneration is a core aspect of shield tanking. Nobody would use a slave set for shields if it offset the regeneration. Think of it like this: I'm in a leviathan. I have a good bit of logi with me. I am not using a shield slave set that turns off my regen. They rep me. My shields rep a bit on their own. My total increase per cycle is greater than if I had a sheer hp boost.
