well i was thinking about the compensation skills (which gives extra res % to passive hardeners and res% increaser's.)
would like to see these skills give like a 1-3% bonus to the active hardeners when active too.. it seems kind of unfair that these skills doesn't do anything while having active hardeners in use, while on a passive hardened ship they do a big difference.
on a active t2 shield hardener it will do nothing which mean it will at lvl 5 bring the hardener from 55% too 55% (surprice :P ) but at a passive T2 it will take it from 37,5% too 46,8%.
i think that it should have some effect on the active hardener ass well, not a lot but still some. maybe changing the increase to hardeners non-active to hardeners active would be fair?. would bring active hardeners too around 60% instead of 55% but still enough for the skill to have a good effect I declare war on stupidity |

I think the effect to inactive passive hardeners should be increased so that they grant about half the bonus of the equivalent passive hardener at level 5 of the relevant compensation skill. That way, when you're nossed down to 0 cap and your hardeners turn off, your skills can play a role. Active hardeners shouldn't be boosted at all by the skill while their turned on. The Estamel Invuln is already ridiculous.

These skills should not affect active hardeners when they're on. Its part of the price you pay with active hardeners, capacitor, fittings and the fixed bonus. They're still considerably more effective than passives are usually. They don't need any more power beyond what they already have.
Reggie seems to have a pretty good idea there though. -------------------- ICE Blueprint Sales FIRST!! -Yipsilanti Pfft. Never such a thing as a "last chance". ;) -Rauth |
