I have some pos and i see they are using too much isotopes and the jumpfreighter is too.
You can mining from dark glitter 1000 liquid ozone and 500 heavy water and 50 strontium
thick blue ice : only 350 oxygen isotopes and same long time to mining out as the dark glitter.
My ide to change it to 600 minimum. ONLY THE SECOND TYPES!!!
smooth glacial mass,enriched clear icicle,pristine white glaze.

prices seem to be rising atm, but i dunno. maybe increase hidden explo ice belts (limited amounts still, not as much as normal ice fields) with better ice than their system sec

I don't think there is a problem here. It would be nice to get more fuel out of each unit of ice but I think that if it isn't broke, don't fix it.
I for one hate ice mining so the less time I have to do it the better, but I don't see this as something that needs doing. Saying that though, I'm usually wrong about things so maybe I am about this

Almost doubling the amount of isotopes in the improved ice variants should reduce the amount of time you have to mine ice to get the needed isotopes, if its the improved ice. Not sure if its available in lowsec or just 0.0. Not sure if its available from exploration belts. If it isn't, it should be.

all high sec ice belts should be gone soon ish?! since about a million years ago CCP stopped them from respawning. not sure if this is still the case or not, nice I don't Ice mine

Just the ones in (I think) 0.8 or higher. There's still plenty of ice in certain systems in highsec, being mined by teams of Mackinaws that never leave.

0.0 and possibly lowsec ice's could use a boost, at the moment they're the relm of highsec macro miners, let players help make this less worthwhile for them by making the reward for doing it somewhere risky be worth it. As it is at the moment you're better off mining something else and buying the ice, even with the 'high' prices.
