hi all
i went to buy a armageddon from Ragnos Seller in traide in my hast i bought an Oman that had need renamed. so a 3.1mil omen cost me 58.5mil. please all be very carful that you are not as stupid as me. the GM`s will not give you your money back although they do want to stop this sort of thing.
this post is as a warning but as a note this will be the end of my game time. i have 2 accounts and my main char has 6m exp. i play most every day for upto 15-18 hrs and this although sounding babyish has made me so gutted i cant play any more. i was getting the armageddon because i had lost the apoc my corp had made for me 4 days before, i borroed the money to cover the armageddon, not only did i not the ship but i still owe for it.
if anyone knows this char or any of his char and have any influence over him plz try help me turn this around and plz all BE CARFULL!!
Hope this helps someone not look a dumb as me.

To Alex: I guess if this was teh first time i have seen this happen I would feel bad for you, because don't get me wrong this is stupid but the warnings on the forums and in help channel are ALWAYS ALWAYS look at what you buy carefully... otherwise you will get scammed.
To Ragnos Seller: U are one sicko. Exploiting game mechanics like that should get your main character banned.

yep, its more than stupid. killed the game for me, i dont mind being the but of this as long as it stopped some one elce making the same mistake. there are not words that i can write here to tell u how i feel and there is no way a game u play for fun should have the power to make u feel like this

Eve is really the scammer paradise...
How can you give so much freedom and yet prevent trusting people from beeing scammed?
You cannot, you have to make them learn to check and be cautious, Eve has so much trap to fall itoo that it's scary, player invite you to go to a specific system, player exchanging item in space... escrow... can's theifs...
It's good to be free but it has is drawback...
On a side note, should I say, important side note...
Do you realise that by having a bs given by your corp to help you, your brain is affected in a way that I cannot describe? Making it so that you WILL leave the game...
Simply because you are beeing given the very costy item that many players spend months to have (in various way (not including scamming I hope!)) and like In RL when you get a huge amonth of cash (that you would not get normally) your brain turn crazy and do stupid thing.... so how do you expect to react when problem arise? You quit... if no problem arise... You are bored to death and then you quit...
It's sad... but, It has happened before, and will happen again.... so corps, try to make your member work a little for their bs... :)
If you get your bs too fast, you might quit too fast...
And remember that even if you are scammed, it's not the end of the universe...

pick me, some of what u said was sort of interesting and some of it was total rubish. im not quiting because im having a little strop because i got scammed. i have an other BS. and also the reason i got scammed was because i lost and apoc to PK the day before. i got well and truly ganked in a brand new 4 day old apoc, my fault totaly and when they got me i said GG to them in local. i can lose ships but i can not have it that when i got scanked it actualy efects my real life. it is monday afternoon and i still am angry. in fact i was so angry that i drank like a nutter on sat night and spent all day yesterday bing sick all because this guy ripped me off. im so angry that if i met this guy i would near kill him. and im sorry to say but that is very very sad. a game made for fun that i have to pay for can make me feel this bad and that there is no recose for this guy. because ccp did not think it would happen they dont have a way of dealing with it so there polacy is not to deal with it. so because they dont have a way to stop people doing it the only way for me to get my money back to it scam someone else. so if it can so this to yyou its nothing to do with a BS.
