Had a go around with a childish CEO from my alliance earlier and now may be ejected from my corp/alliance. My question relates to EVE rules regarding ships and gear in zero sec space:
If I am thrown out of a corp while my gear and ships are still in their hangars, how long do I have to effectively evacuate all my stuff back to my empire - before I am vulnerable to any reprisals?

If they are in the corp hangar, you can't get them back unless they give them back to you. If they are in your own private hangar, you can't get them back unless you have docking permissions in the player station. --------- Technica impendi Caldari generis. Pax Caldaria!

Assuming the stuff is in your own hangar, clone jump in, put stuff up on market, undock in pod -> safespot, self destruct pod.
If it's all in the corp hangar, you got ripped.

How fast does all that happen, though? What's the turnaround time under EVE rules if you are thrown our of corp, to get your own stuff out of your own hangar?

I believe a CEO can kick someone at once, although I am not completely sure about this. Role removal takes 24 hours otherwise, provided you had any roles to begin with. Your problem is that if you have ****ed off your CEO sufficiently you might be KOS already.
I'd say your biggest problem is getting your stuff through 0.0 space and into Empire.

You can have all your roles removed immediately, and be removed from corp 24 hours after that. Any items in the corp hangar at the time your roles are removed, you will no longer be able to access.

I have nothing in corp hangars that's mine. Just my own gear and ships in my own hangar. I have both my main and a JC there, so I guess I can get everything out between the two of them, if I have to.

Edited by: Valan on 12/01/2008 17:55:14 When you lose access you'll be able to clone jump in.
You will not be able to fit ships, repair them, repackage them you also won't be able to dock obviously.
Repackage everything put it on the market for the maximum length of time and clone jump out.
Or fit one ship and repackage the lot and take your chances flying out.
24 hrs for role removal and kick isn't it?
Edit: with two chars in there you can take two ships obviuosly.

Just make sure you have either a jump clone in empire or your medical clone set up in empire.
You don't want to get into a situation where you, your jump clone & your medical clone are in 0.0 outposts. Once you lose access to cloning facilities you can end up trapped and unable to upgare your medical clone if podded.
I suppose this must be my sig. I'll do something cool with it eventually. |

I had stuff in a station I had forgotten about for over a year(don't ask ) and I still managed to contract them,even though I was many many jumps away ======================== Q6600,8800 Ultra SLI, Vista 32, 4Gig RAM , G15 , TripleHead2Go, Raptor X |

Why are you worried about your measly collection of stuff. Clean out their hangars. BPOs are valuable, and you can probably make it back to empire with lots of them in a shuttle or light frigate.

You can still contract all those items, as long as they show up in the assets window. You don't even need access to the station/outpost they are stored in. It's one way to conduct a fire-sale. ---

One more thing:
Make sure that you move your medical clone out of that station. Once you are kicked you will not be able to upgrade clones at that station.
If you get podded, and you med clone is still there, you only gaurenteed out without lost skills is a jump clone in empire.
As a General rule, never move your med clone to a player controlled station without first having a jump clone located at an empire station with a med bay.

Dear OP,
I have been in your shoes! Except for me my old corp left the system and kicked me out while I was taking a break from the game.
Generally, you only have two options. 1. Sell off all your stuff that you can, pick your best ship and load up its cargo hold, kiss anything else goodbye as you undock. 2. Join another corp that has access to the station.
You're in a tight spot. If you are kicked from your corp in 0.0 that will mean you can't access anything in your station. No ship fitting, no medical, no anything. Oh, and you won't be allowed to repackage any ships to attempt to sell; that function uses the repair function of the station.
Which you no longer have access to.
Don't undock until you have decided on what you are going to do. Once you undock you can't get back in. (Not to mention that you will likely be "red" to your old corp and open for ganking)
Good luck!

PFT like they even exist. They're like leprechauns and pixies.
If you have a jump clone or normal clone set there, you can go and get your stuff in your ITEMS. If it's in the corp hanger then unfortunately you can't get them.
It's a similar situation to what happens when an enemy alliance takes control of one of your stations - Red Alliance took control of a station I was in (when LV was still around) and I couldn't really get my stuff. I cloned in and when it was quiet, got my stuff out and escaped.
You can fit your ship and such - but you cant use repair facilities, clone facilities (upgrades, installing jump clones etc) or (I think) the market.
