I am wondering if there are any tricks to getting your drones to do what you tell them. They very commonly decide to attack whatever they feel like and this is making running missions VERY difficult. It very common for them to pick their own target (completely ignoring me) and then when I finally get them to attack the one I want they will fly ALL the way there and then turn around and go back to the one they picked. This has now gotten me blown up several time because my drones refused to attack the ships I told them to that were scramming me. Any one have any advice?

My drones used to smoke ***** on the job resulting in all kinds of problems. I got them into rehab and things have improved immensely.
In all seriousness I always retask my drones 2 or 3 times on the target I want- usually seems to work.

If you right click on drone triange in drone window and set drones to focus fire.
It helps a lot. I found that it means my Amarr drones can kill enemy rats a bit quicker. Before it took an hours sometimes to kill half a dozen angel frigs, now it takes just 35 minutes :)

My advice is to use gallente drones instead of the amarr ones you seem to be using. Amarr drones are gimped just as much as their ships.

I am such a n00b. I didn't know about the triangle for the settings. I set them to focus fire and passive and seems to be helping a ton. Thanks!

Only a plesure - just remember not to use Amarr drones as they do very little damage!

minny drones for the angels and gallente are good for the rest. cept for sentries. caldari sentry shoot FAR
