As it is, I did not consider the alliance feasible, we were defensive and an anti-pirate alliance, and neutral in outside conflicts, so how would we decide who to shoot?
discourteous moi? and really monsieur, you must read what I wrote, I said as much to Maud; today's CFS is not the short-sighted den of appeasement-muddled numpties that once it was ;) At the time if you remember, I was somewhat erked that a) you chaps widened the definition of "piracy" to include anti strip mining legislation, and b) you opted for a neutral stance with M3G4. You have to admit that was pretty shameful.
But it was a long time ago, and doubtless lessons were learned.
I agree now, but back then things were alot different.

No kidding. I've been two clicks from banned on a few different forums for unmitigated use of sarcasm.
Cheers.

Actually the current President thinks rather highly of Ms. Constantine and Jericho Fraction as a whole, and, as someone who was present back then I have to agree that Ms. Constantine was never discourteous despite numerous provocations. As to whether the CFS has learned anything at all, that I will not go into here. Of course with the new Elections going on now there is no guarantee how the new President will feel about any of this. In any event my regards and respects, Percy Loudbottom Soon to be Ex-President of the CFS

Why thank you monsieur Percy, and I must say I have found you a charming conversationalist and visionary leader of your people besides. I wish the CFS well in their selection of a successor and trust they will show wisdom in electing a president to continue reform and evolution to survive the deadly trials of the Eve star cluster in these dangerous times.
I look forward to sharing a drink and speaking on matters close and broad in times to come monsieur.
