Edited by: Sara Kerrigan on 22/03/2004 00:36:18 Will there be any more Community Created Videos coming soon?
The last one was added in November. I recently submitted a video via the email link listed on that page; by the following day, the 'Incoming Section' (for unprocessed vids) had become a 403 Forbidden; where it had previously provided a directory of many videos dating back as far as december. So I'm curious to know if the community video section will be updated anytime soon? ______________

I asked this a while back, but the thread dropped like a bad habit, it's probably somewhere around page 10 now .

Hey drunk love the videos m8.
Quick question, what program did you use to capture them? and what package / packages do you use for the editing?

We've updated the community page with somewhat 7 movies, no favoritism neither personal grudge against pirates have resulted in the posting of these video's . Check out the updated section here: http://www.eve.is/download/videos/community.asp

I captured using Fraps 2.0
I was capturing from a windowed 1280x1024 on:
P4 3.1Ghz, Geforce 5600 (since replaced with an ati)
On this rig it captured at around 15fps (lower at the yulai incident, oddly enough)
Editing for the first one (fight4.avi*) was done with adobe premiere, the others were done with adobe after effects. (both latest versions)
Compression was done using divx 5.1.1 (export to divx directly from premiere/AE)
Hope this helps.
* I have a history of not naming my files correctly before I upload them the '4' meant it was the 4th time I tried to export it. .

Edited by: Xelios on 23/03/2004 01:11:41 Drunken when you capture them do you capture them uncompressed or do you get fraps to compress them in a certain format while you're capturing? I know that on my machine captureing with real time compression gets me like 2 fps, whereas uncompressed I can do around 15-20 but eats hd space like nothing else.
Nevermind, forgot that fraps doesn't let you change compression options anyway.
