Yes I have heard guns are better since there is no travel time but I still wanna give it a shot. Now my question is that if I actually want to kill some one I need to stop them from warping. I have done some digging and I am guessing that I would want to use this item, Warp Disruptor I , or an improved version.
P.S. I hope this is the right forum...

Yes the warp scrambler is what you want. It's a valuable pvp tool since ships will just warp away when losing a fight w/o one. missile boats are great check out the Drake for instance, good stuff.

The smaller your gang, the more effective your missle-boat will be. 2-10 people? Missles are awesome for their high volley damage (the big ones) or their great speed and independance from tracking (rockets and standard missles).
However in larger fights where each side gets into the dozens, it may be the case the primary target is destroyed before your first missle volly reaches the target. Sometimes even the secondary target!
It's only an honorary sig, but I'll still cut your head off. |

Missiles FRock! They have range and power, and as said before, the smaller ones are also probably more reliable than Hybrids. _____________________________ Thorek Ironbrow of Ironbrow Industries Co. Part of the Empire Research Alliance Look us up in Nomaa or Itamo to join! |

You'll want to use the short range variant of the missile size class (rockets/heavy assault/torpedoes) as PvP generaly takes place at short range due to the limited range of tackling gear, and at shorter ranges these offer significantly better DPS than the long range version.
Also check out the Ships and fittings forum for tips on how to fit a specific ship for PvP, and read up in Crime and punishment which deals with piracy and defending from it. |
