Dear CCP,
Please create a transparent sphere that can be built in 0.0 space. The spheres need a diameter of 100km with a small opening on each polar opposite. Those outside the sphere can see in, but the sphere acts as a solid barrier and prevents locking. The players can take it from there.

P.S. Putting one sphere in each factionÆs Empire Capital would be cool too, assuming game mechanics can accommodate a free-fire zone inside the sphere.

I would park six stealth bombers and a Falcon inside that sphere and just wait...

I posted a huge topic on this same type of idea.
I hope so :)froced one on ones would be cool.
meaning to the above poster you can't have more than two people in side./
however if you watch the 1 hour Q&A on the fanfest site you'll see someone ask the devsd for arena and the devs say he doesn't see why not so...

Why did that just make my stomach churn? I guess, RP wise, the Caldari have the "gladiatorial" sports. But for some reason, from everything I've been exposed to in EVE so far, this kind of idea seems to be counter to the dark and dirty world we live in.

For control, you could host the games in 0.0. This would allow the sponsoring Alliance to "enforce" certain codes of conduct. That way, you don't have to mess with mechanics like only letting two ships in at a time. We just need a sphere.
Also, it would be a great isk sink. You would have sponsored matches for large sums of isk and people would be losing powerful, expensive ships all the time.
Seems easy enough to do on the surface... keep it sand box. Just give us the toy and we will find a way to play with it.

not if your allowed to pod in empire because it's a blood sport.
Also it would be teamed based.
like in real life we box in a ring while people kill each other elsewhere.
