I tend to agree... But with compression methods and perhaps a different protocol it may be possible.
Relatedly, I use VPN all the time to access my computer at work, and it's seamless. I'm just talking windows apps though - not a game.

I was just checking their web page, and they claim that it's possible to broadcast a game running at 1024x768 resolution over a 4Mbps service. They have to be doing compression, or SOMETHING. No way a 4Mbps ISP could handle transmitting raw video...

It's more than just video too though - keyboard and mouse events need to be sent as well. That doesn't add a lot to the overhead, but describes a little better what this thing is supposed to do. I'm sceptical, but it'd really be a target for copyright infringement if everyone started sharing the games they have installed on their computers over the Internet! LOL

Indeed. I have 1 Mbps and even sometimes I have to stop a youtube video because it's playing faster than it's downloading.

I beleive the EVE client needs an Intel. For instance the Mac version only works on an Intel based Mac.
thats why eve runs on amd processors on windows and linux....dont start trying to understand why a mac needs a intel processor to run eve.
