You can not "Select All" items in a hold and then drag them all to another hold. It will only drag the one item.
There's a workaround that involves like 10 extra steps or something.. Like selecting to view by Name, then scrolling to the bottom, then "Select All".. What's that all about?

agreed,
Also will I ever be able to remove my bookmarks by right clicking on them and selecting remove. I've heard some people say it works for them but it doesn't work for me, or 2 other people I know.

Sadly I fear it will work again but only if in the fixing of it 2 more things break. I think it might have something to do with the fact that when you would move a lot of items at once before, it would move them once at a time. This took a long time though, sometimes more than 2 minutes to empty my Indy's cargo hold into a given hanger. Then CCP changed the way that it worked so that it moved all of the items at once, or in large groups and at high speed seeming almost like at once. I think that this change worked for 1 live patch before it broke down somehow. And it is not just a problem in the moving of the items, but it seems to also be a problem with the game's memory of what you have in your cargo hold when moving items (it doesn't remove items from some area of memory or something). This isn't just a problem because of the fact that it looks annoying to see a lot of errors caused by trying to move items from a hold which are not there...but under certain conditions it can well since we cannot discuss exploits...figure out what can happen. (Before you even ask it was petitioned a patch or 2 ago.) I really wish that the option would be hotfix removed until it can be debugged. I don't know anything at all about the programming of Eve as I only know how to code MUDs, but maybe going back to the old item moving code would fix a lot of problems untilthe new, faster code can be used. Well here's to hoping that it is fixed soon *fingers crossed*. --Missa New Siggy to Come Soon(tm) |

CCP could implement a hack fix for this in about 1 minute. All the have to do is bind "refresh->content" function to the select all function, calling it before the actual selection.
Then when they got more time, they could try to do proper fix

here's how i get it to work nearly every time, just one extra step...
select all, then drag into a space in the source container (only one item will appear to move), then drag (holding the same item) into the destination container as per normal.

And here's an alternate way to make it work:
Select All
Resize container (whatever it might be, can, hangar, etc.) so that the order of the items change
Drag to destination
Always works for me. ----------------------------------------------- Stand tall and shake the Heavens. |

All you have to do is select all, and drag using the last item in the box. Of course, this is hella annoying and still needs to be fixed.

There's another way to get it to work: right-click -> refresh -> [either]. Then drag away.
