Yup, where the Deer and the Antelope play, baby! Where the stars at night shine big and bright...
where else but deep in the heart of Texas! That's as wilderness as it gets!

The magazine is very light on content this issue. I read it cover to cover in 15 minutes on the toilet... I'll leave it there for a quick read for visitors.
Seriously, one article was spread over 6 pages where the text could easily have filled 2 - the pages were bulked up with photo-shopped (badly) jump gates and Concord billboards. We see these rendered beautifully in Eve every day - don't need bad renditions in our mags.
I've renewed my sub for the next four issues but hoping for better content.

the DVD was ok, the software did not work under XP but i could watch the content. It was nice since i did not see all the fanfest discussions.

I think my article alone was about 4000 words so if you read the whole magazine in 15 minutes thats some serious speed reading ;)
My last article people thought wasn't inclusive enough for the majority of players (although writing about motherships its always going to be hard to be relevent to the majority of the readers), so i've aimed to write an article everyone can relate to in some way or another - constructive feedback would be appreciated (I am still new to this after all ;))

I was actually disappoitned by the DVD. Was interesting to see some of the clips that weren't pubished on the EVE TV website at least.
I was looking forward to higher quality presentation clips and being able to see some of the pictures/charts and such, but turns out that all you get is the first 5 - 10 minutes of the presentations and then a little "news bar" towards the end saying to go to the EVE TV website to see the whole thing.
On the up side, the classic client being on the DVD saved me a download for a "new old" computer that I was putting EVE on, so I suppose it's not all bad.

Heh sorry, Sivona. I didn't mean to come across too negative - the ship articles are always good (so far) but this issue as a whole was very anaemic, if not outright boring.
I'm guessing it'll get more interesting with the onset of faction warfare - that should open up the magazine to good stuff that is more topical.
