As she walks through the corridors of the production facility, she listens to the distant sounds of hammering and clanging of metal. Her thoughts turn to the past û a past where she did not have the luxury to simply walk around listening to the sounds of industry, but was required to be involved in the industry herself. A past where everything had seemed so much simpler and she had been so much more nanve.

The curiously asexual voice of the computer system fills the corridor.
ôCelestial Horizon Corp. [CLS] was founded by Ishkur (formerly Tarpeia from Earth & Beyond, Galileo server) on January 17, 2004. It was started when around ten players who became bored of Earth & Beyond moved to EVE. Tarpeia was a well liked and respected member of the Earth & Beyond forums and he invited anyone wanting to start in EVE to join CLS. When Electronic Arts announced the closure of Earth & Beyond, overnight CLS membership exploded.
Our numbers swelled and the Genesis region became the birthplace of our ***** mining team... Division 6. The leader of D6? Cyvok. Able to demolish entire systems of ore we soon attracted unwanted attention.
The wars began.
CLS's first war in Carirgnottin was with Mercenary Frigates (who later became Mercenary Forces). Most members were still only days old, and thus battles were short, and mostly involved rookie ships and frigates. Our wars ran practically nonstop for 2 years with various factions, corps and eventually alliances.
With our expanding numbers CLS joined the Xetic and Immensea Federation [XIF]. 0.0 beckoned and CLS split into an empire and a deep space section.
During this time Ishkur was unable to continue as leader of CLS. A corporation vote brought CYVOK to the fore and he took over leadership of CLS. Cyvok also ended up as Vice-President of XF on the 29th Jan 2005. reference http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingamebo...hreadID=146973 CLS ended up in 2 major wars during our time in Xetic. The first one due to Waagaa [CLS] shooting HatePeace LoveWar's [CA] hauler. CA declared war on XF. A year later, Cinnander [CLS] shot Shredder [SHNR] and The Five and MASS declared war on XF.
The end result was most of the regions of Xetic were decimated, and stations secured by The Five. CLS and DDS held fast to the regions of Feythabolis and Impass and arrived at an arrangement. They left the Xetic federation and the Ascendant Frontier was born 2 May 2005. ASCN was given the regions of Feythabolis and Impass, all other previous Xetic regions were taken by The Five. CYVOK and Steel Rat, the leaders of CLS and DDC (respectively) were equal leaders of Ascendant Frontier. At this point CLS became the executor corporation for the largest alliance Eve had seen to date, and the history of CLS becomes intertwined with Ascendant Frontier.
http://eve-history.net/wiki/index.ph...ndant_Frontier for more info.
A number of notable accomplishments came out of ASCN.
On the 20th of August 2005 Prometheus Station was launched. This was a Minmatar Refinery Outpost located in the 5P-AIP solar system in Feythabolis. reference http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingamebo...=215040&page=1
On September 25, 2006, CYVOK publicly announced that ASCN had completed production on what Kieron later confirmed was the first player made Titan in the EVE Universe. reference http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingamebo...=400298&page=1
ASCN built a total of 19 outposts across Feythabolis. I believe we held 21 outposts in total. VNGJ, UB5, 2-RSC7 being the 3 Conquerable stations.
Ascn also engaged in factional warfare between the Angels and Sansha factions and their ongoing dispute in the Paragon and Feythabolis regions.

*Part 2 of 2*
"After BoB won the war and with the fall of ASCN in January 2007, CYVOK resigned from the leadership of ASCN and Ramius Monteagne successfully led CLS through the difficult transition time out of the space that they had occupied for so long. We moved into the Drone Regions and formed a new alliance.
For professional reasons only, in May 2007 Ramius retired and passed leadership to Samuraijack who is the current CEO of CLS.
CLS moved out of the Ka-Tet sovereign space and repositioned itself at the boundaries of Feythabolis Region in an on-going fight against their former invaders. A greater emphasis of operations in both 0.0 and empire aid in maintaining a more stable base regardless of 0.0 warfare.
Unfortunately political agendas and issues within a number of alliances in the area have changed our views on the current state of affairs in the south of eve. CLS has withdrawn from the south and is evaluating the situation. Our goals and views no longer agree with the current political entities therein and hence we will no longer be part of them.
With these new found changes, CLS continues to grow and prosper economically and diplomatically. This transition phase has shown the resolve of this great corporation and its future potential.
We have survived 4 long years and a colorful history. We are still here and continue to uphold the traditions of CLS and the spirit in which it was founded.
File Endö
She continues down the corridor, reflecting on the changes of the last 4 years and comes to the conclusion that through all the hard times and the good times, she is still proud to be a member of Celestial Horizon.
Honor and Serve.

"Loki? Loki? It's time. Wake up. Cayt's activated the signal."
The voice repeats itself continuously, echoing through the dark corridors of the dormant vessel.
Slowly, green lights start to flicker, cyans, ambers, a few reds.
A voice calls silently from the darkened pod bay.
"Hrmm? Wha? Who? Report."
"Caytlyn has activated our reminder. It's time to come home. The corporation is 4."
*curiosity* "We are? Damn! Been one f***ing long year! K, wake the crew. Let's get this bird back in the air...we have a party to get to."
*yawn* Computer, activate OLD MUSIC file. something random.
*The Crusader slowly comes to life and moves off into the depths of space, the sounds of "She builds quick machines. Velvet Revolver" echoing through the corridors
Happy Birthday CLS. Let's make the worst days of this coming year better than the best of the previous one.

Edited by: Petter Sandstad on 19/01/2008 14:53:11 Curious about this corporation, he logs into the TTI database. Most of these events occured before he became a member of TTI, but still he does remember hearing about them during his time at the University. His search on the old database yields several results. He accesses a data file that seems to be a collection of data from the war between CA and Xetic.
"Access data file 34689"
"The CA/Xetic War"
"The Propaganda:"
"The first Eve wide war had begun with a multi front onslaught against the Curse Alliance and the affiliated alliance of the C4. The massive coalition consisted of FA, SA, CFS, m0ovolution, ATUK, Celestial Apocalypse and a host of other corporations."
"The reasons for the Xetic/CA war had been argued with both sides believing they were righteous...The corp that was credited for starting the war, Celestial Horizon, retreated to a lower region where they ran 15 man mining ops and hid from any assault fleets that made the trip to engage them."
"The Details:"
"I understand Mark A came a cropper to a frigate strike by CLS and JEDI. I am happy to offer to reimburse you for this loss."
He finds this information interesting. "The appearances and the actual facts of great wars are probably often in conflict with eachother", he thinks for himself. "Might that be a reason why so many mystics are speaking about two different worlds?"
But then his thoughts are interrupted, as someone knocks on his door.
"You need to review this application for the HR division today."
"No more time to research this corporation then", he loadly utters in order to confirm that he will review the application. "It certainly seems that Celestial Horizon Corp. has accomplished quite a bit during its many years", he concludes.

I have to say it is truly amazing how many corps make it to their 4th birthday. Those of us who immigrated to EVE from Earth and Beyond share a bond...
Celestial Horizon, was a great great corp to be apart of during its peak, we fought a lot of battles, sparked many fueds, but in the end CLS broke down because its leadership became arrogant. While i parted ways with CLS, we were a family, and I wish you all the best and safe travels.
oh.. and Caytlyn / Ramius .... you two rock!!!!
To all CLS pilots of the past (especially C.A.B. division, you know who you are)... i salute you all o7 _________________________ V I R U S |

Caytlyn: How long after we're declared overdue can we expect a rescue? Lokisson: [pause] Four years. SamuraiJack: *Four Years?* Hey man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last fourn hours! Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they're gonna come in here... Caytlyn: Hudson! SamuraiJack: ...and they're gonna come in here AND THEY'RE GONNA KILL US! Caytlyn: HUDSON! This thing survived longer than that with no weapons and no training. [to B'rax] Caytlyn: Right? [B'rax apes a salute] SamuraiJack: Why don't you put her in charge?

I have fond memories of CLS. A long time ago, I was contracted to wage war on CLS. They had recently recruited a lot of new capsuleers, and apearently someone was hell bent on seing them blown up.
Along with a trusty band of mercenary forces, we found ourselves reaching unheard of kill-ratios. Back then, frigates, cruisers and battleships were all that was on offer, so warfare was somewhat cheaper. *grins*
Many CLS frigates and a few cruisers met an untimely end outside stations in the Carignottin system. As a show of good sportsmanship, we agreed not to attack them outside said system, and a part from a few trigger happy mercs misunderstanding our deal, we largely felt that the war was conducted well.
I have found myself up against CLS on at least three other occations since then, and each time, they had moved further up the eve-ladder, so to speak.
I have been in hundreds of wars, fought thousands of opponents, and CLS can count themselves among the very few that have been good sports about the whole thing.
For my part, happy aniversery

Probably some of the most fun I have had in CLS was during the times of all the merc wars with us against both MF and BDCI. And also the times ASCN was formed shooting mass (on my alts lol).
