I find it funny that some corps pay upto 10 bil for a couple of days of on field ore and ice compression services.
yeah 10 bil, thats a small undercut really
What I dont understand is
a. Where do industrial non 0.0 corps Get this kind of money for solo pilots. b. why they dont just buy a toon and ship from trade forums. c. how ccp is allowing people to make 150+ bil in under 3 weeks time thanks to the rorqual and jump freighter services.
yes 200 bil in approx 1 months time. Solo players.
so..is this how inequal distribution in eve really is.
Hard work and effort sure. I respect pilots who earn this much but also I look at ccp and wonder whats the point of all those nerfs and reducing pay on L4 missions and nerfing the drop rates of 0.0 rats truly lets people stop earning..
let everyone be worrying about every 5 mil they spend, and not worry about those who make hundreds of billions.. lol
heh funny

Is any of that true?
Does it compare to the Titan NPC trade routes guaranteed risk free income for certain alliances?
If any of it is true, why are the 0.0 ego's so in highsec so damm often? --- Fanboi noun: 1)Person who thinks you should be happy that Eve just got a little bit worse.
2) Idiot.
Fanboiz: Plural of Fanboi Doorknob: Collective noun for Fanboiz. |

I dont know but im very interested in how ccp has closed the routes for normal people to earn and kept the routes for hidden doors open.
kind of drained out my will to play hearing about this.

The Roq pilots provide a service, puts his defenceless capital ship on the line, and gets paid what people feel said service is worth. I see nothing wrong with this. ---

Ummm I would like to join the program and offer my services
If this is true I say. WAY TO GO GUYS & GALES, REVENGE OF THE HAULERS MAKE THEM PAY
Seriously though I doubt they are doing it for a whole month. However I could see an alliance paying for this type of service though. However the amounts are rather inflated.
And in regards to this as compared to T4 missions or ratting. Well different pots of money really. Ratting and Missions creaate money where this service just transfers it around to other characters.
And I doubt there are very many doing it in game for these amounts.
but hey I will say it again

Edited by: Richard Phallus on 17/01/2008 14:01:37 Don't worry, now everyone will train a jump hauling alt and it won't be the supposed cash cow it is for long(however long that takes anyway) --

Um you sure most of that ten billion isn't collateral in case the Rorqual gets destroyed?
I know I would demand a big safety sum first before I even provide that kind of service to another corp.
But ten billion... 200 billion... if what you say is true then we talking about a smart player, so the more power to him.

you do realise this is not accessable to general haulers. the general population just get segregated while a seperate group in itself gets that kind of cash.
MY question is, where is ccp's money control nerf if something like this exists for multiple players.
150 billion.. not 10.. not 5.. 150 billion
it takes people endless effort to make 200 mil in pvp to afford pvp ships.

I've read about people talking solo players having 2 trillion ISK. Dunno if it's true but it wouldn't suprise me at all. |

It's their money and their "problem". If they are able to get out this amount for that work, which they clearly worked hard for, good for them. Are you jealous you aren't piloting that rorq? ________________________________________________

Edited by: xxxak on 17/01/2008 19:12:12 You must be stupid.
1) I am not sure how much can be mined in 0.0, but I am pretty sure that no alliance could mine 200 billion worth of minerals in a month. Why would you pay 200 bil if you are mining less than that?
2) Anyone who could afford to pay 10s or 100s of billions to a Rorqual pilot would simply buy their own. You would mine 10 bil worth of minerals and build one or buy one of your own.

I dont see whats wrong with it there should be more room for independent industrialists and haulers but the way the game is played limits freelance work. ----------------------------------------------- My new years resolution is to give up nonconstructive posting |

a. Where do industrial non 0.0 corps Get this kind of money for solo pilots. they either grind it up through months of play or buy it with game time codes
b. why they dont just buy a toon and ship from trade forums. either you don't have your story straight or they are indeed stupid
c. how ccp is allowing people to make 150+ bil in under 3 weeks time thanks to the rorqual and jump freighter services. once again either you don't have your story straight or they just struck a gold mine as more pilots train up to use jump freighters and Rorquals, competition will increase however

I really don't get where the problem is. Unless it is some kind of front for a isk laundering operation it is a trade between players.
Players are allowed to do bad trade decisions or to offer too good conditions to other players.
It can even be a scam by the CEO to rob off corporation isk.
Or they feel it is worth the isk.
BTW: the only option not allowed by the EULA is to "buy a character for the corp". It is account sharing. But they could loan the isk to a player to buy a Rorqual using character and ask him to pay back with work for the corporation.
