hey their boys and girls i thought i would take the linerty to drop this post to aid all those new boys and girls on the block with their recruitment efforts and to share amongst all of us diffrent ways of recruiting for our corporations.
this is and could be considered as one method and can be called the friendly helpfull face aproach.
so it would be an honour if all recruiters was to share their methods with the whole community in an attempt to train those that are not so good in this field of the game.
please post apropriatly below
thanx adamai ceo npcc

ok you can try secure cans in all market hubs dont use too many as theri a right pain to manage just a fes at the gates on the way in and out
also possition them around your offices enttrances and exits or maybe even at as many gates as you can go through the more the better.
advertising is the key.

Edited by: rodney119 on 17/01/2008 17:12:59 I find simply having a chat to people in rookie chat helps. A lot of corporations put pressure on people to join up straight away, which is far from ideal.
instead, I simply chat to people as people, not just another figure. from a short chat, you can find out what the person wants to do in the game, if they are looking for a corp and if they are trustworthy.
From this you can tell whether you should proceed to inveite that person to the corp. Huge advertising campigns only attract the wrong type of people to corporations.
Hmmm...NICE BELT, IT'S MINE ALL MINE!!! |

yea that seems like a good idea we try to invite them to our recruitment channel so they can geta feel for the members to see if it what they wanna join
but yea i like the rookie chat channel idea although old players frown on it for some reason i ahve no idea why im sure they do it

It's difficult for me to share my technique because I'm a salesman irl and I approach recruitment from that angel. The corp is the product and this forum is the shop window and I've never seemed to have difficulty getting people in the store. At the end of the day it's all about making your add more appealing than the next guy's.
I don't want to appear rude but please consider what I'm saying here. If we share techniques with everyone it puts our corp's at a disadvantage against our competitors. Once they're in the store, I can sell Oil to the Arabs but if I help everyone's shop window look as attractive as mine, I'll have less people coming in through the door.
Anyway, hope you understand my analogy filled reply

havnn't you just done that by replying ??
and well i agree with you making your corp add stand out above the next mans is possibly a good way to go about recruiting i too do sales in real life but i sell work rather than products
so i recon promotion of ones corp rather than advertising as a product to buy into maybe using your posts to promote your corps activities and willingness to help others would more than likely give you a look that would say hey look at us we help the unhelpable :) and we do it well
i like to promote my corp and would have no problems with promoting other peoples either as in tern this makes us look like a great bunch of guys and fair also.
other than that i love the idea :) cheers john

It might help to see the headings posted here in recruitment have a bit more info in the subject title.
Corp Name Primary Activity Types of Players Wanted [special needs or general etc.] Where they base
Something like: Corp XXX, .5-0.0 Sec,PvE, new/old pilots, Region XXXX etc.
Some do this already but It would help to see a consistent title header with as much concise information in it as possible. There are so many postings here to check out and time is limited. I think giving specific details gets your message to the right reader faster.
I know I'm overwhelmed by the sheer amount of postings here
