After docking up after a fight I go wash some dishes. 20mins has passed using my clock on my desk. No timers in upper left corner I undock noticing I still have some hull dmg. Swing around to dock 15 sec delay, blam! Lost my el cheapo rifter, no biggy really but what happen to my timer? How often does this happen to other people?

You might have waited out your global crim flag (red timer) but you still had a agro (yellow timer) flag from the corp who owned the station that you got when you came up to dock, meaning the NPC Corp has agro on you and poped you.
Not trying to deny that there can be a bug with no showing timers, but its a point that many forget about.

It's more likely bugs regarding the aggro timers from those mentionen corps... when you dock under global criminal the sentries won't start a agression countdown timer, but they will often still count agression in the background and start shooting if you undock before (resetting the timer to 15 mins again.

Lost my vaga to this bug, petitioned and devs told me to undock in shuttles and rookie ships for this purpose >_>
they cant just fix the timer so it's correct?

3 frigs, 2 cruisers so far.
Its when you dock at a station and sentries aggro you before dock. However not always you get a yellow timer for this but still you got aggro. So if you wanna be sure wait 15min after you docked and you should be safe.
But yeah its really annoying.

Yeah when you petition it they tell you to give a bit of extra time over the 15 minutes. I lost an inty 8 minutes after the timer had gone and still had no luck getting my stuff back via petition.

To be fair, you also lost your vaga due to a harbi with dual webs and lasers hitting you too ^^

this happens alot you warp to the station and dock up. The guns actualy do shoot you which resets your timer even if it doesn't hit you or show the timer still on.. best bet is to wait 30 mins or bookmark the undock point that way you can auto dock

Relog in station, it will show you the correct ammount of time left on the timer, or whether you have any timer at all. When you dock with a red or yellow timer, it will reset the timer to 15 mins but will not show the change unless you relog, knowing this means I never lost a ship to this bug... YET  |
