Apart from "Important missions" is there any quicker way to increase your faction standing with an empire ?
Are there particular corps/groups that give better faction standing or more important missions on average ?
Looking to beef up Gallente faction standing as fast as possible.

Courier missions are supposed to be good as you can stack missions from agents in clusters.
Depends on location though.

COSMOS missions are probably the fastest method. Essentially every COSMOS mission is a storyline/important mission so it's possible to ramp up quite quickly. They are more difficult than regular missions ... but they pay off.
So if you have even a small faction standing you can start there.

Don't forget to the do the graduation certificate mission. Quick way to get a small boost to faction.

You can also use DATA CENTERS to increase Your faction standing. Agents there will give you faction standing in exchange for tags.

Aside from COSMOS and data centers, couriers, since it's not the missions themselves you want, it's the storylines, and running couriers will be the quickest way to get lots of storylines.

I need to correct myself, in amarr space in the DATA Centers are agents from Amarr as well as from Ammatar. One type of agents wants to have Blood Raider Tags, the others need Sansha Tags in order to complete their missions.
