Who are Slacker Industries?
As undoubtedly the thread title has informed you, Slacker Industries is currently recruiting. We are looking for a select few experienced individuals to join our ranks and expand our numbers, as well as joining our family. Currently our members are spread fairly evenly throughout the time zones, however we are especially interested in augmenting our European and West Coast wings at this time.
We are a corporation with a single goal: PvP at its finest. This means wars, mercenary contracts, and piracy - all day, every day. We do not have time for industry, mission running, or mining. We operate on our own with positive standings at a bare mininmum and we rely on nothing but our own wit and talent. As many who have come to know us over the years will tell you, we specialize in cold, calculated destruction without mercy, remorse, or second thought of collateral damage. We are cohesive, we are singleminded, and we are efficient.
Since our inception over four years ago, we focus particularly on small gang combat. Large scale fleet battle participation is a rarity, we prefer the quick and dirty over endless hours of posturing and waiting. Slacker Industries is also privy to an extensive capital fleet - one which rivals (and often exceeds) corporations and alliances twice our size.

What are we looking for in a recruit?
We are a corporation that strives for intelligence, both in game and out of game. We realize that while skillpoints may be a limiting factor to your Eve existence, they do not define who you are as a pilot.
When we recruit, we look for team players who can function both in small gangs and large fleets; pilots who can not only follow orders but also understand the tactical reasoning behind those orders and improvise if required. We look for leaders who are willing to fight outnumbered and if required, sacrifice themselves for victory. Most of all we look for pilots who understand that combat in Eve isn't just about getting killmails, but instead an ongoing romance between strategy and reflexes. We hold motivation, loyalty, and participation above all other values - put your heart into it, regardless of your skill level, and we will respect you for it.
If you have any previous experience in motivating, forming up and leading gangs, we're especially interested in you. We'll give you the freedom to impress us with your talents in the field, and if you have what it takes, you can quickly become a strong link in our operations. We have plenty of capable pilots, but we need a few new leaders to bring out their full potential.
Requirements
While we look for deeper traits than these, we do require some low standards for security and management purposes.
Required
- Teamspeak (mic optional, but it's preferred)
- 5 million skillpoints, at minimum.
- You must be self sufficient.
- Security Status above -2.0
Bonuses
- Tech2 specialized, in particular cruisers and frigates
- Capital ships skills (carriers, dreads)
- European or West Coast US timezone
What should I expect if I apply?
Your application will be reviewed by a team of directors and upon its initial approval, an ingame or voice-comm interview will be arranged and your application accepted. Once in the corporation, you will be placed on a short evaluation period in which your participation and attitude will determine your future with us. If you fit, you're fit for life.

A great corp with a great bunch of guys. Slackers have some of the most competent wingmen that you will ever come across in the eve universe. If you want some good pvp then this place is absolutely an option! Good fc's good wingmen and a good time what more could you ask for? |

What can I say, my Eve family for so long, a great bunch of very experienced core players who know thier stuff, extremely entertaining to fly with and TSpeak rocks.
