Been doing a lot of Gallante missions since a few months due to a relocation to another part of the Eve Universe. Didn't quite notice till a few weeks ago when I realized that my standing with the Sisters of Eve faction was starting to rise quite fast.
Odd thing is that my faction rating with the good Sisters have now risen above my rating with the faction of the race I am actually working for. Looked at the increase of my latest important mission for Federation Navy:
Gallante standing went up with ~1.5%
Sisters of Eve standing went up with over 2%
Now this isn't a complaint as I like faction increase. But I'd like to know - preferably from someone in the know - why my Sister's faction rises quicker than my Gallante faction while I am not even working for them... do they like Gallante so much that working for them makes them love you better than the Gallante do?

Smaller factions/corps rise quicker for the same action than a larger one. Papa said that way back in the day. In fact, he just said it again, when a noob was asking for the quickest way to advance, he said "choose a smaller corp"

TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |

The SOE faction is smaller than the Gallente faction so any standings changes are scaled up. For factions with extreme differences in size (eg SOE and Gallente, Amarr and Ammatar, etc) the scaling up is so dramatic you actually end up getting more from the derived standing change than you do from the standing change that triggered it.

SSoE standing: 3.20
Gallente standing: 2.42
...And here's the trick: I'm doing missions for Republic Security Services - a Minmatar agency.
So, I reckon, the SSoE don't like slave trading ;)

Sissies like all 4 factions. So, any IM for any of the big-4, earns you sissy faction, and more-so than that main faction.

This used to be true, but not any more, my SOE faction has been dropping steadily since Castor as they don't like it when I do Amarrian missions.

Small or tiny?
Does Ammatar, Intaki or Khanid go up faster than with Empire agents, or are they considered 'Empire' factions as well?

I did some research a while ago, and I think the only faction that is liked by the four big ones is InterBus (and Concord, but that doesn't matter much as long as their agents are unavailible).

its corect when playing for the galante faction your sisters of eve standing grows fasster then the galante. this is similar when playing caldari, your mordu's legion faction wil l increase more then your caldari faction.
so if i want to do something about that bad galante standing the best thing for me to do is to play the sisters of eve. that faction gives the biggest gallante increase.
