Nice Video, I knew the Darkness would make a gr8 sound track to an eve video. I'll bet the Jokers all fly their ships in spandex outfits.
I would of liked to have seena few more close ups of ships going boom, but i'm like that.Anyway impressive work.Look forward to the next one.

I'm disappointed with this one, I liked your first video a lot more.
I'm already looking forward to your next video, hope you won't use the 4 pictures in one technic again.
Maybe it was also the music... the bands you used this time are nothing compared to Massive Attack.
I guess I just got used to your high standard work, it's difficult to keep up with what you do ingame ;)

At first the idea of darkness on a vid was weird, but watching it again i like it. It fits the jokers image very well. Space rouges/pirates/bucceneers(sp?) and i dunno darkness fits very well.
Anyway good vids, nice to see some good old joker uneven odds and still victory

Thanks everybody for the comments.
We wanted to experiment with something different. While the first one was more themed toward the "mysterious deep space pirates" with ambient music suited for that, this one had to be more funny and less dramatic so to speak (oh my!).
The Darkness are clowns, and their music is funny and actually not too bad on the quality side. We found them to suit the theme very well.
On the scenes: yes there aren't too many close up and personal, this is because all of these scenes (even if not very apparent sometimes) come from battles where we were outnumbered 3:1 and 4:1. The second part of the movie is actually one huge battle in Deklein, that lasted for more than one hour. You can find screenshots and a quick summary about it on our website (titled "Black Monday for Deklein"). We have a non-stop action scene from that fight, I believe something like 6 GB of DivX movie
In such conditions it was very hard for Fist to play the steadycam man, but we thought that these would be more interesting than the average 1:1 or 1:2 battles that occur every day in EVE.

The commercial break section made me laugh, although I think this could be a pirate scam, don't buy into it brave pilots of eve.. They'll take your isk and everything else when you go to collect your t-shirt.
Then you'll end up with "I got owned by the Jokers and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"
Great work guys... Always tell a quality video, they get a second viewing straight away :)

Yes both Deneba and Avirex left EVE a while ago. This video was born mainly as a goodbye present to them. I don't think that Deneba shows in any of these action scenes, while the Resident Badass Wingman can be seen in the first part of the clip.
In the second part the new Jokers on the Block (Yuen and Ban Shee) can be spotted here and there.

OMG one of those scene with 4 or 5 streams of missles in bound and 3 streams of missles being fired from the taget..that gave me chills.Thats where I would have paniced,hehe wait no I would have paniced when I saw who was after me.Oh and think the music rocked,went great the video

I had another look at the video, somehow I like it, I realized that it's only the music that I don't like at all. Musik is a very important part of a video for me, that's why it had that bad taste to me.
