I have the same issue with tiscalli as others now.I used to have no bother connecting at anytime,then during peak time i started getting dumped from eve server.Now i am being dumped even at off peak?
I have decided to leave tiscalli and join adsl24.
I know jack about about usage and need help figuring out which package to join.
I can limit my downloading to offpeak,but am unsure how much download and upload i'd need to use eve for say 5hrs during peak times.
There packages are 3gb,30gb and 60gb at 8mbs peak times.
Gratefull for any advice.

If you avoid mass downloading and streaming during the peak time the 3GB limit will do for you and EVE.

This is well enough documented in Tiscali stickies,
Go to tiscali support forum, linked in stickies.
At the start of their Eve thread is a technical support ticket number.
Call cancellation dept, and quote the number saying the issue has been running since October and in their contract it specifies they should be resolved within 28 days, and you are no longer prepared to wait.
Ask for MAC code.
Ofcom says they must supply you with it within 5 days.
If you are nice and they are being the nice back, they can issue it there and then or within 10 minutes if they so choose.

Hey snaith they told me they couldnt give be my mac code for 5 days, i told them that they where lying but they were having none of it, no sir its bt that issues it, blah blah.
Anyhow getting a refund from them for paying 24.99 for a 1mb connection for the last 6 months so aint all bad

Yeah , the mac code 5 days is within their rights, but as I said they would have to give it to you.
So you are sorted, and a refund  , happy Eveing.
Just make absolutely sure who you sign up with next , and if in doubt get email confirmation from them about gaming issues and stipulate if their policy changes it is your ticket out of your contract as it is your main use.
You have as much right to put a term/condition into your contract with them, as they do with you, as long as it perceived as fair.

I've been getting dropped alot in Aunia and there is only a handful of people in that system. Up until recently I have never been dropped from my satelite connection. On dialup it was like clock work. When I was on dial up after 6 hrs i would get dropped. So I was able to estimate when I needed to dock and relog. lol. It seems like after I updated my client all these problems started coming up. Everything from flickering when i start up both accounts to random drops to lol my keyboard not wanting to work on the log in window. But hey, I still got my addiction...EvE = digital c rack. But thats the case with most mmo's i think. (didnt know c rack minus the space was a bad word lol) someone please elaborate on that one cause now im confused lol.

Try jumping and if you get stuck just relog see if that gets you out
