so there I am, waiting for this Knights of Syndicate pilot (Mariokoli Mianana) and I have him in half hull... boom he's gone... wtf... he's just gone... isn't this an exploit?

You should know that ctrl + q wont do the trick. Your ship will still be there. However there is a method that makes ur ship disappear even if its warp jammed. Im not gonna go into details on this cause its deemed as an exploit and if you petition someone using it the gm's will pop his ship ^^
That actually answers my question,,, I didn't know if it was an exploit or not. Thanks.

And this is why I'm glad we left the Knights a few weeks ago. Keep after them, and get Agent marvin if you can. I'll love you long time if you do (he sold a dread of ours that wasn't his to sell.) They all need a secret surprise sexing.

As new residents in Syndicate, I have been rather disappointed about the amount of logoffski going on.
Some folk think its just dandy, having jumped stupidly into a waiting gang, to log off at the gate whilst cloaked. It means they logged before they get aggro and therefore you have a very short time to kill them before they vanish. Said ships were big passive tankers...
There was justice on this occasion because we got one before he vanished- and got the other (a vulture) with a cloaked tackler when he logged back in...
Still needs fixing though. Far too much logoffksi...

It's sad, but it's the game mechanics.
The moment you arrive in the system cloaked in a camp you have two possibilities:
.) Just log and rely on your hp
.) Try to get out manually, you'll either die or have a 15min Agression Timer running.
The responsibility to change this is on CCPs side.
