I've been away from the game for a year and a half owing to being a real life nutjob and they had me commi.... errm... a holiday! That was it, holiday, okay? Got it? 
I came back yesterday and all I can say is "Wuff! Look at all that cAKe!"
The new graphics are as smart and shiny as a smart and shiny thing, and my ships seem to have extra slots when I go to the fitting screen - funny slots... at the bottom  and skills... we seem to have developed some new university courses while I was away, huh? 
My paltry 'under 6M' skillpoints looks terribly weak now, I'm going to be doing a LOT of reading over the next week or two and figuring out what to train.
Great job on the game changes though, devs. Very impressed so far.
Now... since my corp seem to have disappeared, this Old Fart is going to move back to Caldari space and have some fun
