I'm trying to upgrade my trial account to a paying one, but each time I try to send the info of my card (Visa), the site rejects it, with the error "Not authorized". Same happened with my Visa Electron.
Now, let me note that I've entered all the information correct, I've bought other things with the card too, so that's not the problem.
Also, sorry if this is a wrong section for the post. If it is, could a moderator move it?
Thanks.

Talk to your bank if the authorization is not going through. It might be an error on their end.

1. Reply: I already did, but petitions take very long time. 2. Reply: As I said, I have bought other stuff before and gotten no errors.

Best of luck with that. I never did get EVE to accept my credit card, and gave up after several months of waiting for my petition to be resolved.
Your best bet is buying time codes. As a bonus, buying 90 day codes is cheaper than the monthly subscription fee.

When you say that you have bought stuff with your card... did you buy those things online or things in person where you didnt require an online authorization? I have had this problem before which is why I bring it up...
I could purchase things from stores with my card but when it came to buying things online, I had to go to my bank and talk with them. For some reason, it just wasnt authorizing my card for online purchases so they fixed it for me. That may or may not be the case but you never know.

EVE Online's payment system is on a watch list for Credit Card companies. Every time I switch cards I get a phone call from my CC company asking me if I had authorised this transaction. So check to see if your Card company has been trying to call you. If not then you need to call them to get your card unblocked and then tell them that you yourself tried to make this payment and it's ok to go ahead with it. I can't honestly tell you how CCP ended up being blacklisted.
CCP, you really need to fix this.

I can:
Step 1: create 30 macro-accounts and when trial expires, register with with stolen CC number Step 2: milk macro accounts for ISK until Credit Card owner notices he's paying some dude in Iceland $450/month. Launder ISK in those oh-so untraceable ways we're all so familiar with Step 3: laugh as you have billions of ISK and CCP have to repay the $450 plus whatever VISA charge the vendor for this ****.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

This. Also recent activity on your card be it online or in person will put a 24 hold on some online transactions. Had this happen to a buddy who was trying to activate his PS3 online account. He had just bought a new hdtv online and then went to the PS3 setup and it wouldn't accept his card. Called Sony and they told him the bank was blocking the transaction so he called the bank and presto insta-activated.
