But the masses are so great that a sort of relatively stable number is kept up. Until of course, they lose interest, BoB is no longer seen as such a threat, and numbers begin to drop due to a lack of a believable common enemy. All BoB has to do is wait. 3 months, 6 months. So I see on the forums the mouthpieces of the goons. In fleet fights I see a few of these guys show up, the are a big presence in local. They are a big presence in their pods. There are maybe 20 very loud heros in goonfleet who are very good at propaganda. It must be very difficult holding it all together. We all heard ( and some of us saw) goons in 49-, when unable to find an enemy target, turned their guns on each other. Your time will pass, just like everyone else's. If you can coalesce an organized entity out of your masses, then you deserve to live. If not, then you deserve to die and you will be gone, as predicted.

My belief is that there are many ways to play EvE, its not all PvP. Some people say that EvE is all about spread sheets, others say its all about PvP, others say is all about isk, and others say it is about having fun and meeting people. I dunno if any of those are the "right way" to play eve. TBH I don't think there is a "right way" to play eve, and that is why EvE is different from other games. I do know that the only objective standards I know of, point to GS being at the top of the game right now. Thats all I was saying, and that is the purpose of this thread. This is a moment to pause, think, and take stock in what is happening. A moment of reflection can't hurt. Now you may not like that. And, really, that isn't the point, and this isn't your thread anyway, its mine. The point of this thread is to recognize what has happened. I am glad you have enjoyed my thread.
