Edited by: Ira Theos on 23/01/2008 04:48:20 Has anyone else had Mechanical datacores disappear from either their hangar or from market sales orders? I have just had 36 disappear from a private hangar and 20 from market sales orders without a trace. No journal entries recording sales and no contract records indicating that anyone hacked into my account and transferred to another account. You can't reprocess them so that isn't where they went.
Anybody notice this??
Nobody but me has access to my account (no kids, computer in house and not public) never bought isk or received email on this machine, so I don't think the account is hacked. Looks like a database problem so heads up everyone. Check your stuff.
And yes I have petitioned it.

1) Check if while moving those in hangar you have put them in some ship hold or container. Sometime a wrong click and do that.
2) Clear the cache and wait till dt, it generally clear database issues.

Well this mystery gets stranger by the minute....
I petitioned the loss yesterday and this morning the missing datacores are magically back in the hangar without even a comment from CCP... But I have to wonder why a database error would selectively drop datacores from the hangar while at the same time removing them from two different sales orders in the marketing section. Obviously CCP thought there was an error because they replaced them. However, in two years of game play things have never just disappeared from hangars... especially not while simoultaneously deleting the same missing item from sales orders at the same station....
This all happened within days of beginning to undercut the sales of this item at a major outlying hub. Hmmmm.....(puts on Tinfoil Hat). Just to be on the safe side I changed my password.

Just to ask it: your "morning" is after DT?
You are not the only one that had a problem with item temporally displaced by the database and then restored after DT.
It has nothing to do with your beloved conspiracy theories and a lot to do with the sale order completing in the last hours before DT.
