Pan Quayle Sonic Industries	Posted - 2008.01.23 21:24:00 - [7] As posted on MC leadership: I've given everything to EVE for 5-6 weeks now, so much so that it's started to affect my work and my RL in ways that it shouldn't. This isn't burn out, it's self-destruction brought upon by obsession. I spent most of my Xmas vacation on the damn computer. I simply cannot keep this pace up and every day like today... I have worked my ass off in so many ways and it's taken it's toll. I'm not trying to cause drama.... rather trying to avoid it tbh. I know the timing is bad, but when is it ever good? I tried to step down back in December and it didn't happen. I continued to lead Tortuga because I hoped we could close it quickly and I could find a way to step back. Instead, it's drug on and I've had to take on even MORE responsibility. My RL work is suffering, I can't remember the last time I sat down for 10 mins to read a book. I get to bed around 2-3 am every morning, wake up and am confronted with too much stuff. I haven't been able to relax in about 2 months because my heart's just not in the right place. The future of MC isn't "Seleene". One person cannot keep up with all this stuff anymore and stay sane. It's just not going to work. ***** is a delegator. He had ideas on how to spread things around. I suck at that. I try but I think everyone is so comfortable and used to my "style" that they figure I'll just take care of things. So... yeah. I'm going to be taking my name off the blame line soon. MC is going to have to evolve into something that doesn't have a single 'head'. I know the talent is here, I just think it's been hidden in my shadow too long. If ****** can come back in any way, that's good. If not, then I'll appoint either someone else or a small group with a spokesman (probably best). I know the above is a bit rambly but it's 0243 in the morning... again. I needed to get this out of me so you guys can start thinking sooner rather than later as to how we're going to move forward. I fail to believe that MC cannot find a way to work without me pulling every strong. I think everyone here has an insane amount of talent and can make this work. So, please, help me come up with a way to do this and help you guys make some of this happen. I will do everything I can possible to help.

Someone wants to not live their entire lives around a computer spaceship game!!!11 I am fairly certain that MC will go on without Seleene at the helm (assuming this is even true) and that doesn't mean he's going to quit EvE and give all his stuff to me... unless that's what he's going to do, and I'd peepee my pants a little if he did... but flights of fancy aside, this dramabomb fails to deliver.
