Was asking because just before that, I got a ".NET framework" update, and started EVE-Mon afterwards only... and didn't work.

Just because you're too stupid to find use for it doesn't mean the rest of us are ******** too. The api is great and isn't being canceled or anything like that.

From what I and others have noted about the repeated API/EveMon outages, the API interface server seems to have an unannounced regular downtime, not linked to that of the main cluster. So if EVEMon isn't working, give it a few hours and try again.

EVE-Mon and similar programs, even email/SMS notification of (impending) skill training completion.
ineve.net and other similar sites confirming pilot's skills if he wishes to.
A multitude of "wallet"-related applications allowing you to monitor trades,profits and such without actually logging in.
