EVE Starts as normal, but after the splash screen it does nothing. It never goes to the full screen window with the login promts. The EXE File is still running, but the application never loads. Any ideas?

Me too! Deleted my sisi folder and it still gets stuck after splash, before full screen. Takes out my cpu too..

This!!! Updated from 9600 xt to 2600 pro on my 1gb 2800+ amd today. Installed premium client, which stops loading after the splash screen. My old classic client results in blue screen of death.
I updated windows and ALL drivers today...

 EVE Worked just fine just last night... Was there anything changed over night? I'm going to try a re-install of the EVE client tonight and see what happens. I also noticed that my EVEMon is crashing constantly as well. Wonder if the issues are linked.

It turned out to be a driver problem afterall. After the hotfix, everything works fine.

I got impatient and just deleted my cache.
Unfortunate but it worked.

I have a ATI HD 2900xt 512/6000+ athlon X2/2gb
Eve was running fine. Yesterday it just suddenly closed and after that i have the same problem as all of you. I tried reinstalling EVe several times, and reinstalled the display driver(cataclist 7.11).
I've read someplace somethign about clearing the cache, gonna try that today evening after i get home from work.
Any other suggestions?

Deleting the Cache and Pref folder didn't help. Still getting the same issue.

I'm too. The same problem. nVidia GeForce 6600GT. The splash screen at the beginning and nothing else. Fresh DirectX, latest video drivers.

I am experiencing this problem as well, it just started this evening. I have been running Premium for as long as it has been available without problem, until tonight. I attempted to delete the cache but could not even locate it on my computer (let alone the game file itself). I'm using Vista(32-bit) and uninstalled the game despite it being nonexistant on my computer, the location from which the game was deleted did not exist on the computer nor was the game found anywhere using every manner of search term possible. Is there any way to fix this as I am doubting whether reinstalling the game is going to work...

TO DELETE THE CACHE IN VISTA
Obviously you gatherd, the old Docs and Settings directory didnt carry over into vista.
Instead your cache can be found in C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE
Not sure if this helped me though: tried uninstalling it but when i go to run the installer it locks up on me. Very frustrating!
