Hey, i was just curious. My corp is new, we are a group of friends that got together to make a corp. The problem is, we would like to learn PvP, without getting owned in 0,0. We are looking for a mid sized corp that mainly uses friggys and cruisers for an ES war. Can anyone help in your search please.
Any advise for a new corp is also welcome. ---------------------------

There was word of new universities being formed that will take you though various aspects, whether that be PvP, trade, manufacture etc. I know a buddy of mine "Morning Maniac" is running one, maybe you could convo him and get more details?
Send an envoy from your corp over to us, I'm sure that the guys would be glad to show them the ropes, we usually get into furballs several times a day in empire mostly, they could go back and instruct ??
Just ideas.

i've played eve for awile now. I mostly took part in mining opps and what not. I wanted to learn PvP, so i took part in afew Alliance battles. I hated the lag. so i am looking for something on a smaller scale with squads instead of fleets. A nice equal corp would be good. We're we didnt know if we'd win or lose, but our ass's wouldnt be handed to us. Yea id like any ideas/advice you have to offer. ---------------------------

We`re only a small corp but interested in seeing some pvp action in friendly war too. Maybe this could be taken a step further, where a special chat channel is set up amongst participating corps where members can set up mini-battles. Rules like no fighting without consent, frigates only(?), and no podkilling. Something along the lines of fight club on chaos perhaps?

I deffinately Like the idea of a friendly war.. with no ganking of mining ops.. cause I am traing to be a researcher/builder and I know my pvp skills have deffinately been neglected.. and I would hate to have to look over my shoulder every ten minutes during a mining op. and I like the rules thing.. you know like a fight club.. 'first rule about friendly warring.. you don't talk about friendly warring!' mwahaha it would be grand!

In the last corp i was in they had a practice war with another corp. members that wanted to fight just had to put a tag on their ship name and then you could fly around all the time and attack eachother when you wanted too.
Although strict rules had to be put inplace so there wasn't any cheating. --------------------------------------------- The world is a battle field, pass me my gun! The Black Ops Recruiting. combat Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes XXXXXXXX, wrecking for 518.0 damage. |

If you want to learn play poker. You better play with someone that dont use all "2's" as jokers....
Play with the best, and die by the best. then you will learn PVP. The rest is just whannabee pvp

Gonna have to agree here. You guys would be much better working something out with someone like Mercenary Frigates. If they will honor some sort of a deal, with whatever terms you two can work out (possibly even paying them), then you will be much more likely to learn how to do PvP.
Love them or hate them, they are skilled, and as a new corp, you could restrict it to frigates probably. This would be the best way to learn PvP imoho.

mmmmm, a friendly war, how refreshing.
i would take merc frigs offer up, they guys seem to have fun, and apart from a few, are mostly polite.
u will find ppl take this game WAYYYYYYYY too serious though, when it comes to PVP u will bring out the worst in folks:(.
