I was channel hopping through some of the more obscure channels on sky today when I came across "xleague.tv". Looks like its mostly a gaming channel with tournaments and stuff.
The mmm guys have gotta look at putting an eve tournament on there, how awesome would it be seeing the eve tv guys on proper telly.
Do it, do it, do it!!!!!

totally worth it for the 6 players who have that channel! go hug a station nubles.

Meh. Gaming on TV is a bit pointless IMO.
1. You can stream it at a higher quality though the internet.
2. The only people who really watch matches are other clans, looking for a step-up on other teams, or people obsessed with said game. (Would you go out of your way to get home + watch a CS match? I wouldn't, some people would.)
3. Most games which are streamed on TV (Other than ooold RPGs) have their own in-game spectator system. CS / CS:S, Unreal Tournament, TF2 (coming soon apparently) are all watchable ingame, and the camera is then controllable by yourself, rather than having to stick to what the commentators see.
All in all, I don't think eve on TV would be very...useful. Everybody who would be watching it already watches it online, and it's not like they can't have an internet connection. They play eve, don't they?
Sure, it may bring in a few new players, but for the cost of getting it on TV? I don't think it would be worth it. Most people wouldn't understand what the frack is going on onscreen, so would either flick channels or sit there confused.
Don't mean to burst your bubble, but I don't think this will go anywhere  Besides, if you really want EveTV on your TV, buy a few video cables and hook your PC to your TV!
