dalman	Posted - 2004.03.25 16:41:00 - [1] Fix plz. Issue seems to be with the Sansha Lord (500k), maybe other Sanshas too. But these NPCs often drop "medium beam laser I", a small weapon... It kinda ****es you off to get a standard small laser instead of a named large one. Oh, and they love to drop standard 1 MN AB too... M.I.A. since 2004-07-30

Nah, I see what their tactic is... Usual drop from an NPC may be Heavy cap injector, armor plate, smartbomb, laser and MWD. They use cap injectors to be able to move all the way over and then do huge damage with L smartbombs and small weapons from very short range. Only problem with this theory is... how the heck do they travel at 900 m/s when using a frigate sized MWD? M.I.A. since 2004-07-30

And I wasnt using missiles. ------- Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes Guardian Enforcer, wrecking for 827.3 damage.

You wouldn't believe the stack of miner I's i've looted from Arch Angel Centurions. And something else: them Arch Angel 85K tech2 cruiser rats drop basic cargo expanders like mad. Light missiles, assault launchers, 1Mn AB's and the whole scala of frigate loot finds its way into their cans. I always try to think that there must have been 20 frigates in that belt just before i warped in and that them cruiser killed and looted them.

That you get "crap loot" is one thing. That the loot table for the Sansha Lord is bugged is another. In the loot table, where a meta large beam is supposed to be, it instead picks "medium beam laser 1". THAT'S A VERY BIG DIFFERENCE. M.I.A. since 2004-07-30

This means , if you're going into a combat situation and you don't want the opponent to get your good guns when you're destroyed, fill your cargo with a bunch of small ammo, small weapons, throw in a basic miner or two, and you'll be ready to go kamikazee.

No, they have 45 km optimal range and 15 km falloff range. They drop standard dual heavy beams, standard mega beams, and standard medium beam laser 1. It seems very obvious that they are by mistake dropping these small lasers instead of meta versions of dual heavy beam and mega beam (I've killed and looted lots of them without EVER finding a named turret) (and I've killed lots of all the Sansha and Gurista battleships). That's what needs to be fixed. M.I.A. since 2004-07-30

Ka Dargo	Posted - 2004.04.05 03:24:00 - [25] Had the same problem last night with a 500k Serp (Guardian Enforcer-Megathron) loot was worthless, but item out of 1x500k,2x85k,8x7.5k spawn was a 23ms named overdrive. Also if these high end serps shoot missles, shouldn't they be able to drop missle launchers? We got better loot from a 250k Serp Dominix, and that was only a Large ion blaster.
