I have found several large Gneiss Asteroid fields in Caldari space (0.4 sec). I don't have the means to exploit them. Are the locations valuable?
If they are where/how do I sell information.
Presently I have just found location of 1 very large Gneiss field in Caldari space.

Not sure.. I'm out in 0.0 now but before Trinity I did several lowsec Gneiss sites - all we (my corp) did was move our gear out in haulers, mine the ore to a local station, refine there (and take the hit of course), then haul it all out. When mining in system the haulers would be loaded up on warp core stabs and extenders, and we'd all watch the scanner closely for probes and if we saw any we'd dock up.
Since the introduction of HICs though moving big haulers full of valueable mining equipment is much more difficult and a single HIC outside a station can keep your haulers from being able to move ore (since they'll get stuck in the station till the HIC leaves). Not sure if it'd still be worth it, honestly. ----- My in Eve Profile My BattleClinic Page |

Grav sites in low sec are cleared quickly in general. But the system must be right. In systems without stations or in known dangerous locations, grave sites stay for weeks. So far my experiences. So my guess is, that you have the locations of grav sites that no one would bother to mine.

We find these alot lately as well.
A large Gneiss field typically yields approximately 350 million isk. It can take a couple of days to harvest it all. Our corp uses a couple of Rorquals so it goes a bit faster.
You would suggest that you contact a few of the local mining corps in that area and see what they are willing to pay.

I believe I've seen the information on the forums, that since Trinity a roid plex would despawn after three days of its discovery.
