Gotta admit I enjoy fighting IC, the fighting was back and forth, people were having a good time (I assume it was mutual). And I fell asleep in my chair after taking a break from the game (too much wine) to wake up 6am. Would I do it again? Oh hell ya! GF IC!

Just a pity I lost my sabre on the way out, thought I had cloaked, but I guess I musta hit the wrong button or lagged, cause I found myself 40km off the gate being tackled by a vaga oops dead. I think in the end it was an enjoyable affair thou tbh I would say that IRC had the slight edge, I guess realistically there was no way really that we were gonna break their 20 man carrier spider tanking setup (Moar tempests?). Looks like we took more losses then them, 30bs vs 20bs losses. But we did managed to kill one carrier from the looks (happened before i got there), and we managed to steal one as well, so I think we can chalk this one up as a very GF, and pretty much an equal outcome, thou tbh, they hogged the loot, bastards. Either way there is no debating that TRI really didn't fight us yesterday, they were outnumbered, but so were IRC, and the CAOD threadnaught which is the other thread kinda backs up what was stated in the OP. Then again IRC really have got the art of the spider tanked carrier defence while outnumbered down to an art, we know if we show up in their TZ with numbers they will always come play. Anyway so far as winning or losing goes, if you wanna look at the killboards, then according to IRC killboards (pretty accurate from what I can see) technically we did lose, plus they stole all our loots! So yeah obviously a training op . They held the ground and did more isk damage. No doubt the TRI excursion helped things proceed a lot more smoothly today, but still a few things to work on. Namely people going afk when we are making our exit meaning we have to turn around multiple times to save their asses (you know who you are). Thou as you can see, neither side has really even mention stats or numbers so far because we all had an awesome time fighting each other. Again mad props to IRC for always bringing it and for always being gracious in victory and in defeat. Anyway, can mods please delete the Alt Posters in this thread, they are tarnishing what was otherwise a for once pleasant GF thread.

I will say that it is a lot easier to respect an enemy that writes "gf" threads, and really means it, than one that writes smackthreads with alt-trolls. Perhaps it would do some good for some of the alt posters in here to re-read the previous couple of pages. Observe that it is possible to have respect for your enemy in EVE without it being some kind of backhanded insult. When that happens, EVE is a hell of a lot more fun, regardless of how many ships you killed or lost.

Nanos are a tough out for our style of defense and while we know how to counter them in general, actually having the pilots in the types of ships needed is often tough for us. We are certainly not naive enough to believe Tri is anything but a hard nut to break for our group. Just be gentle Angel Edit: apparently the word C-rack gets filtered. Who knew? I¦ve got one myself, and a corpmate got another one too, but he got killed and lost it. Poor Tronaar lost his AFK ship, we were searching for a CHAOS SB that was cloaked around, I deploy drones and Tronaar (who was cloaked and AFK for like the entire last day) uncloaks. Tough luck. I¦m guessing, though, that you guys had some problems on leaving the area unscathed, as I for at least 10/30 minutes after you left, many of you were AFK¦ng on some Planets. I can¦t blame them, mind you, the action had me glued to the screen easily +8 hours.

Went for an assist on two ships and when I arrived, all reds in the system must have rallied there. Saved me the time of having to dock to get a bigger ship. The aim of politics is to keep the populace alarmed and clamorous to be saved by menacing it with imaginary hobgoblins. The urge to save humanity is a false front for the urge to rule it.

So yeah, I took a non-rep, no guns fitted "anti-nano" Vexor to a fleet battle, you all have my permission to laugh, I did, though I am also never flying another Vexor again as long as I ******* live! Not surprisingly, half the battle was frapsed from my pod as it warped around following the action, if that to you makes a bad video I’d ignore it, but I really don’t care - that was an awesome night, a damn good fight and massive props to Intrepid for bringing it. I said I’d never do anything on that char that isn’t Carrier related but…gah… 13:42:34 Notify Training of the skill Gunnery lvl 2 has been completed. A good fight is made by someone bringing it, usually when the odds are even at best, then continuing to bring it despite things not being easy, and THEN ending it smack-free with a "gf" in local. IRC seems to do that consistently. They may not be a big powerhouse or political player or anything like that. But I think if you search back through CAOD posts involving them, you'll see compliments on bringing good fights are relatively common and consistent. I think that's fairly noteworthy. Berand p.s.
